Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue

He wasn't the reason why we lost, Leicester weren't ever going to score if it wasn't for that long range chancer. Many more passengers in the team than Jorginho today.

I agree, Jorginho wasn't that bad today but I just think too much goes through him and that is our problem as he is not creative enough. You have a Cesc, ot a Pirlo or a Fernandez who can mix up the short simple passes with killer, defence splitting passes and then you become a different proposition all together. Today just summed up how we are too slow, ponderous and predictable and so easy to defend against and a lot of that is down to Jorginho.

He had a decent game overall, Leicester avoided 2 yellow cards after 2 bad tackles on him in the first 20 minutes of the game. Can't really blame him for the goal either.

What did he do that made you think he was decent?

But what did he do for those 75 minutes?

How did he impact the game?

Well by keeping possession and passing the ball around, just like Busquets does or whoever else in his position. What was he supposed to do, to score from 40 yards? I wish he had done that too.

If that’s your opinion of decent, I’m dusting my boots off!

That is a minimum requirement!

Busquets also broke up play and moved with the ball and shock horror passed it forwards further than 5 yards.

He’s probably a nice person, but he’s not cut out for British football and all the time he’s in the team, opposition will have opportunities.

Well in comparison you have 2 Leicester player that clearly avoided getting booked after a careless tackle on Jorginho in the first half so what's the minimum that Ndidi did for Leicester? I have been hearing that he's not cut out for British football but he has been doing the same thing here as he has done for Napoli so nothing changed for him at all.

I said it in the past, if you think Rice is the answer let's buy him, Rice said Jorginho and Busquets are his role models anyway.

He’s doing the same here as he was in Napoli, and therein lies the problem.

we all know you love him, but face it, you’re in a very small minority.

In answer to your question, Rice would bring twice as much to the pitch than Jorginho, but that’s not asking much.

The majority is not always right, the fact that we reached the CL final with Jorginho points to it...

My problem with Jorginho is that he controls our tempo. He just wants to slow things down with side ways and back ways passes. It happened about 20 secs before the goal for Arsenal the other night.

I hope he’s gone in the summer. He has qualities but I just can’t stand his type of football which stops momentum and makes us ponderous and easy to defend against by deep lying defences.

Would of much rather played Gilmour today or that Jorgi was replaced much earlier. The last 20 minutes after all thos substitutions, was the only time we looked threatening. Unfortunately Jorginho and Alonso just did nothing all game, and when playing with a back 3 aswell, we were going nowhere fast.

He’s a poor mans Tielemans. I was surprised no big teams were in for him when he went to Leicester. He was a really highly rated teenager and reminds me a little of Fabregas but more athletic. Some of his passing this season has been exception. I think he’d be a great signing but on the subject of Jorgi, I don’t think he was too bad today. His lack of athleticism was highlighted again I felt but he done OK. As others have said, too much of our play goes through him and it slows us down massively. That’s the main problem.

We reached the CL final cos we had an easy route, if you think differently, it’s time you took up another hobby.

This is a Chelsea fans forum, I think this post got lost on it's way over to Blue Moon.

Such a pedestrian footballer. Points out to other players where to run because he hasn't got the legs to do so himself. Sell sell sell.

The curse of Jorginho's physical limitations define him as a player. No natural athleticism, zero pace, little physical strength, poor aerial ability. This dictates how he has to play the game. Simply get the ball and look to give it to people who can do the things he can't.

Jorgino would make a great training coach.

You haven't thought it through, have you? If he is sold, how would our players know where to run if there's no one there to point them in the right direction.

What a crock of sh*t

Don’t delude yourself, we played a very out of sorts Athletico, Porto who everyone wanted to draw, and the worst Real team in years!

If you don’t think that’s an easy path to the final, then you’re a very confused person.
