True. We should lost a few games. Honeymoon period definitely over for Sarri. Time for him to show how good he actually is.

He only has 1 tactics and its not working so hes in big trouble imo, hes been sussed out by most managers already

It's a lack of planning to not address the striker situation last summer even though we saw clearly last season that our strikers were poor.

Playing without a decent striker immediately puts the team at a huge disadvantage

i think  the reality here is that we made half hearted efforts for marquee players that we could never truly compete with getting. Higuain must be sat at home laughing his t!ts off at Morata et al

I just find that we get ragged and out of shape when teams hustle and then it gets worse from then on.  Like others I'm still trying to work out what the hype is with Sarriball because if this is a good as it gets, then we are in for a long season....maybe its the players who don't get it I'm not sure.  We lose our way at the oppositions 18 yard line and lose our shape and lookalike Fred Karno's army on our own 18 yard line...I've just been scratching my head over the last few weeks.

Eden did say we can only judge Sarri when the going gets tough.....and so far he has failed badly in that regard.

It's not Sarri that is the problem right now. He doesn't have all the players capable of playing his style. He has inherited a team of misfits. Anybody thinks this is his fault is not thinking logically.

I'm going to put this under the growing pains of a new system under a new manager. Things will get better, especially if the club stick with it and keep progressing forward.

I just don't buy that. Things are supposed to improve as time goes on, not get worse. Arsenal are getting better by the week under their new manager.

You'll be having a long season then........its going backwards unless Sarii does something.

At a club that sacked a manager six months after winning the champions league, four months is way beyond honeymoon period for learning the system, imo

Thing is, Sarri’s plan Is largely working. Morata buries that chance after HT and it’s game over.

We are incapable of finishing a chance unless it's Hazard or Pedro on the ball, everyone sh*ts their pants in front of goal

Whats a misfit is Sarii is too stubborn.......its clearly not working.

it's obviously not as good as it gets. Napoli last season was as good as it gets, but it took time. If the club and the fans don't have any patience then forget about us ever becoming a club with long term ambition.

i understand that thought. I've felt that Chelsea all season had been relatively lucky to not have conceded more than they have. Just seems to have serious moments in lack of concentration and it's starting to bite them. That is the most concerning part to me really are those lacks of concentration... I'm just hoping that they get better. But, if it's the beginning of Feb and we are having the same issues then I'm going to be right there.

Second season in a row out of CL with the only real world class player on an outgoing contract is a terrible scenario though.
