March 10, 20224 yr Lads will be going through lost property for something to wear tonight. Happy Birthday Chelsea. These last 2 weeks have been like a twilight zone. Doesnt seem real. One minute we are arguing over Lukaku the next we hoping Boris lets us travel by easyjet.

If we go through it may be a problem.
March 10, 20224 yr Turkish billionaire Muhsin Bayrak: "We're in a bad mood. The British government seized it [#Chelsea]. We were just about to finish the job, applications were made yesterday." "A press conference was going to be held today, and the handover was going to be next week. I'm incredibly depressed". [via @gercekgundem] Sources close to the process do not rate British billionaire Nick Candy or Turkish businessman Muhsin Bayrak among the frontrunners despite both men making their supposed interest public. March 10, 20224 yr This seems to just be political racism against Roman and the chance to create a big story. Stealing a football club will not make any difference to those getting attacked in Ukraine, neither is there any link. Why not do something that actually makes a difference.

March 10, 20224 yr What pisses me off most is that people are dying over in Ukraine and one of the Govt's moves is denying Brits from buying tickets at a football match but the CFC employee's salaries are still paid for. What a world we live in today.

March 10, 20224 yr Three suspending the sponsorship deal is a big deal too. That's £40 million a year out the window just like that.
March 10, 20224 yr Whole atmosphere is bloody weird at the moment, and I feel really angry at the government for going to the lengths they have to seize control of us or cripple us to this extent. It makes no sense whatsoever in the running of a football club to do this, it's just sabotaging the club as an extension of Roman. Surely they need to relax some of the measures they've chucked at us?!

They're waiting for the new takeover to renegotiate their deals. It's way too much money when they've always known that Roman was an oligarch for Russia.

March 10, 20224 yr Roman was selling the club anyway. Hopefully to someone he was going to ensure was going to continue his legacy let him get on with it , put something in place to stop him making money out of our club for the first time in his life if you want. the rest of the measures are just vindictive .

Surely they need to relax some of the measures they've chucked at us?! It's a very poorly conceived plan. The terms that's been placed on us is just hamstringing us to run our reserve funds dry. No ticket sales, no incomings and outgoings but the employee still earns a salary and their job is as per usual? It makes zero sense. A better plan would have been seizing all of Roman's control and letting everything stay as is. As much as we say ticket sales are a pittance compared to tv money and sponsors, they still represent a sizable income for the club especially when the people in the houses understand that we'll lose sponsorships from the sanctions.
March 10, 20224 yr Looks like Hyundai are about to follow Three. Honestly expect Nike to do the same in a short amount of time.
