Wake up call?  Really? Where have you been?

It was a wake up call really. A slump is a slump but this is just ridiculous. The last 3 games before today can be excused, but today can't.

Let's just stop beating around the bush, Lampard is getting the sack. There's no way he's going to salvage anything with our next two fixtures, I can't see how he stays with another two defeats.

Without Fernandes, Solskjaer would be jobless right now.

Lampard won't have a player of that caliber joining in January, that we all know. Obviously we all hoped Werner & Havertz would have a similar impact to Bruno (at least combined) but to be blunt - they have both been sh*t for several months now,

To be fair, most of our coaches were also in that position when we had Hazard saving our asses left, right and centre.

That's a part of his job, to get the best out of his players. And he hasn't been doing that because his priority was to play Tammy in the middle and to find a sweet spot for Mount and Kante. The question is that why did he even bother buying those players if he doesn't want to use them properly? At least Solskjær knew what to do with a player like Fernandes, Lampard doesn't seem to know what to do with Werner and Havertz.

It was a bad game no doubt but I wouldn't be calling for his head just yet.

A bit of an understatement. We just lost to a bunch of kids and one of Arsenals worst team in decades. I don't know how anyone here can defend him. Even if you're a big defender of Lampard, you can't defend this game. It's been sh*t for a while now but this is something else.

Very much blamed the players post-match. Clearly furious but it is a dangerous game to start shifting the blame on the players.

I think us fans tend to overplay the impact various formations and tactics have on games fundamentally it comes down to the personnel and how well they perform in an allocated role. Today it wasn't so much about tactics but more about who wanted it more and the Arsenal lads were more up for it then us.

We have Werner who is completely out of form and looks leggy, Chilwell and James didn't look 100% and Tammy was battling against 3 CB's without much joy.

The biggest mistake Lampard is making of late is persisting to play Werner on the wing where he is unable to off any sort of width making our attacks hugely 1 dimensional.

I love Frank and he will always be my joint GOAT with Terry but he's not at the level yet to manage us to success.

We have seen this movie over and over again and it won't change this time around just because it's Frank.

We are terrible to watch, we are losing games to teams we shouldn't be and we are playing players in positions they are not competent in.

The big money signings have started well however their form has gone completely now the longer they have been with us and Frank. These were not por players but two of the best players in the Bundesliga last season, one of which was a TOTY contender in the CL.

We don't look like a team anymore, we haven't done for a while. It's just a team of individuals who don't look confident being asked to play the way Frank is asking them to.

This won't touch Frank's legacy and neither should it because he's a club great but sadly we need better than what Frank's able to give us at this time in his managerial career.

He’s a young manager relatively speaking but Frank has got to come up with a plan B if plan A doesn’t work.

He needs to come up with a solution to this “play for 45 minutes, waste 45 minutes” performances.

We’re not ruthless or creative enough to win enough matches in 45 minutes to guarantee a top 4 finish.

I wonder what will take for someone of you lot to at least criticize him let alone ask for him to be sacked.

He doesnt deserve the sack at the moment, but he does deserve to be criticized.

We dont even have to win our next 2 games. I just want to see us at least play well lol

Blaming the players never takes responsibility it seems wonder how long before they switch especially the new guys

Of course people can criticize him, I was referring to those calling for him to be sacked.

His biggest problem is that he's playing favourites or being kinder he's invested in the long term future of our academy players.

Playing Timo on the wing is to fit Tammy in, only playing Giroud to take pressure off Tammy when he's not scoring and as well suggests that.

Getting close to the famous Jose one of "I feel betrayed".

Lamps knows the dressing room of Chdlsea cause he was a player in it for many years. He is also not a stupid man. He chose those words and he knows what they can do.

To me saying something like that where, to paraphrase here, he basically says the players did not care enough to put decent work in and did not give a sh*t. However true that is to point that out in public has lost Chelsea managers the dressing room.

Now I have heard that I believe Frank now feels he is on borrowed time.

His biggest problem is that we dont have any attacking play except for give the ball to fullbacks, let them cross it in the middle and see what happens. Also, our midfield isnt capable of controlling games. You just dont have that physical presence. Mount, Kante, Kovacic/Jorginho are all lightweight.

And I have to agree on that Tammy thing. Today was obviously time for Timo to play the striker with Christian on the left and Callum on the right.

It’s a bit of a catch 22 though. If he comes out and takes the blame for everything then it’ll give the impression that sort of performance is ok because it’s the managers fault.

The players are all adults (ok maybe not Little Billy) and need to take their more than fair share of responsibility for consistently sh*t performances.

One part of this that really annoys is me that we've just gave Arsenal a new found belief and confidence. They'll probably kickstart now, what a f**king bottlejob that was. I'm still absolutely fuming, genuinely can't believe we lost that the way we did. I thought the 2-2 was embarrassing but f**k me... This is something else.

For those asking about who next since Poch is off to PSG. I think those rumours are true from the summer and Max Allergi is the one Roman will line up.

Be real stella football to watch then.

That's what I meant. It is not a wake up call, it is an incompetence alarm. Sadly, Frank turns our players into self-doubting low on confidence unmotivated habitual bottlers. For everyone's sake Frank should do a decent thing and just walk away.

Oh I agree. Aside from with Rafa I mainly blamed the players each time we started to become sh*t. Just when a manager does it what happens next? Usually manager is done soon after.

I think he needs to try Werner at CF if both Pulisic and CHO are fit.

I don't think we were terrible today, I think Arsenal had better tactics and we made too many errors in front of their goal and in defending.

Yet by losing this we now face a resurgent Villa in just tow days who we should beat yet if we don't I suspect the board and Roman will look to make a change.

How can you even say that and look at the team Arsenal played compared to ours? We weren't terrible, we were absolutely sh*te, gargantuan piles of sh*te.

We could only score 1 goal against a back 3 of Holding, Mari and Tierney? Xhaka and Eleneny in the middle, and their attack? Jesus... I can't even think about it without wanting to be sick.

I think Frank needs to go full out for Declan Rice in January.

Jorginho and Kovacic are squad players at best IMO, they get substituted on play decent then start the next game, offer nothing and then you’re reminded why they’ve been subs in the first place.

Sell some fringe players, have a starting 11 he can trust and pad out the squad hungry players willing to fight when given a chance.

Rice would add the intensity and desire we lack at times.
