Manchester City are delighted to announce that Pep Guardiola has signed a contract extension that will see him remain as manager until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

Next season i guess

He'll most likely agree to a mutual termination, when the going gets tough Pep leaves, he'll go to PSG or Juve next.

I wouldn't be surprised if behind the scenes City put some pressure on the Premier League, they have a financial muscle

I think they should.

Fergie or Mourinho would, we haven’t got enough managers to speak up against incidents like this.

Imagine if it was the other way round, Klopp would go nuts and the premier league would listen.

Well, the time we have all dreaded is finally upon us. This really is Liverpool's year. I hope you are all well-prepared for the the next 2 decades of mentioning it.

How can you make lattes from pumpkin?

I can't watch those scousers winning, they make my skin crawl, so I'm just changing the subject here.

Why would City let pep go though ? they would go back as being challengers ..

If he wants to go they have to, you can't keep an unhappy manager like you can a player.

I can just see it honestly.

Nothing can prepare us for this.

The comeback is on!

Of course they have some fine players and a top manager, but a good part of what's taken them to the top is an almost manic will to win. Once they win the title that might drop a bit.

lol agree to disagree , i cant see him leaving at the end of the season.????

City have looked bang average at times today and their defence looks abysmal. Can't remember the last time I saw KDB as ineffective as he has been today either. Let's hope they play as badly in a couple of weeks time. Still hoping they score 2 more in the last 5 minutes though!!

Pep's post match interview should be fun...can see him talking himself into a fine

Depends what he says, every manager has criticised VAR with impunity as they know it's a sh*t work in progress, that being said maybe Pep will get some leeway this time being 9 points and considered less of a threat now

Surely it's only a matter of time before Reece is ahead of Trent in the England squad?

As great as he is going forward any player of quality has him tripping over himself.

Come on now , i get we hate Liverpool but Reece is gonna have to show a lot more than just shutting Zaha.

Said this before he shut out Zaha, he's got much more defense:attack balance to his game. Against us he not only struggled to get any hold on Hazard but Mason Mount aswell.

At Liverpool they can work around his defensive weaknesses against most teams (and even then in circumstances like today have to bring on Joe Gomez and put him forward because he's struggling badly) but at International level he's going to get badly exposed.

Their 30 year wait continues.

But it looks like the newly rebranded LiVARpool will win the league title on their first try. That is quite and achievement.
