Mason Mount

Agreed! There seems to be a theory he has played lots of matches in the last 2 seasons which is fair to an extent, but that doesn’t seem to have affected Saka who is younger, played more mins, and been way more effective.

There is also the potential Nkunku factor like Sconnie Blue mentioned who occupies the same area. He isn’t anywhere close to a £250k/w player for me.

Saka is a general world class talent. Mount can be but Saka is a lot more consistent whereas Mount doesn't have a bonafide position.  Saka did feel the effects towards end of last season though when he played every week and Arteta has even said he admits he will need a rest but right now he cannot afford too. But yeah, I would go as far as saying Saka is good enough to be starting for any team in the world. That is how good he is.

Dunno. We've left ourselves with a very poor midfield. Maybe give Chuk a game or 2 and see how he does.

Ben nice to see how him, Casadei and Hutchinson do if given a chance. We know what the alternatives bring.

I think Gallagher is good but he would be good as part of a 3 which is where Chukwemeka would play, the main problem is our front 3, more specially the 2 wingers/attacking midfielders. Mount, Sterling, Kai and Pulisic have been crap for most of the season (and before that too)

Well it would be forgivable but that reply was 6 hours ago and where is the passionate defence of Mason? We should be seeing Gol levels of defence here!

Got a job mate. Any other details of my life you’d require at this point?

Hmm...

Favorite Food?

Favorite colour?

Is @CaitlinCFCreally your significant other?

Any kids?

Let's just start there. Only been awake a short time over here.

Forever changing.
Blue (it is the colour after all).
She should be so lucky.
One cat.

He's not ready to be Chelsea captain. He was performing in patches last season and has been terrible this season. It's insulting to him and the players around him that he is rewarded for it all of the time. He cannot be made Chelsea captain until he finds consistency and gives us confidence that he will become the complete footballer.

Or worse we sign his best mate for an English football record fee and make him captain.

It should be a one horse race (James).

Having a very challenging season.  I'm not entirely sure what his best role is now - can't really hold a midfield 2 or 3, yet doesn't quite have the output you'd expect up top or LW.  Make no mistake, a massive part of our future, but about time he gets his head down and becomes a specialist in a role.

Not even sure that is a given.

Just another Oscar at this point in time.

I'd take Oscar right now - atleast he had end product and work rate vs. the other attackers (not Mason).
