That was a big 5 mins. Sheff Utd miss an easy header to equalise and we score a few mins after. 

 

I'm happy with what I'm seeing here, should stroll through this game now.

I much prefer him in the role he is playing this season compared to last. He played too far forward under Sarri. Under Lampard, he's starting deep and dribbling forward, with Sarri he was too far forward from the start of the attack. Also, he suits a team that likes to play a bit quicker.

Still vulnerable in defence, but to have a two-goal lead is fantastic. Hope we can go on with it in the second half and record a big win.

Over the moon with the way Tammy is playing. Absolutely clinical in front of goal and a far cry from the last few seasons with inefficient strikers.

Overall decent half. Yes the two goals were down to mistakes by Sheffield but credit to Tammy for capitalizing on the chances.

Simple and good first half, we did our job and punished them twice. I still believe we can create more chances, Barkley is dribbling more than needed and it's annoying sometimes.

Great for Abraham to get two more goals, he should get hunger for a hatrick. Quiet game by Mount, Pulisic and Jorginho, Kovacic has been great.

We have to score at least 2 more and keep a clean sheet of course.

I don't think we have been great, a few errors from the opposition and pressure from us has forced the lead. We haven't flowed as well as we have in previous games so far today.

Good start from us. I like the way we are using the ball in games where the opposition focuses on defending, if we cut out the loose passes, we can start to dominate the bottom teams.

Tammy 4 in 4. Onwards and upwards!! Good show.

We play 28 games against non Top 6 opponents. I'll take two per game against each of them. 

Heck, two each against the promoted teams puts him in contention for Golden Boot. 

Detractors act like we play Liverpool every week. 

It’s nice to be the beneficiary of some comical defending for a change.

We’ve looked very comfortable so far. Actually it’s shaping up to be a relatively ‘boring’ match for us, which is not a criticism. I’d love to see Tammy get his first hattrick though, hopefully the first of many.

No one has mentioned jorginho assist!

Think Pulisic and Mount are doing well, Barkley's kind of killed their build up.  Jorginho has looked to play Abraham a lot today.  May have been a bad clearance on Sheffield's part but Jorginho keeps putting them in their for Tammy.  Hard to fault too many in the attack with a 2 goal first half.

I think this midfield of Kova and Jorginho today has been pretty good. Kova almost getting a goal and showing glimpses of his comparisons with Modric. Jorginho with the lovely assist!

The goals were very opportunistic, but thats exactly what we have been missing! 

A real striker that is so on point and creates goals out of nothing.

The Blades pressured us quite well on early on. They only need a goal and they came close at least once (slow stream) to make it uncomfortable for us.

We need another and then I think it is done. 

Really like the look of Tomori. 

So interesting to watch us this season, even if we havent been great today. 

A comfortable win with a clean sheet would be a nice result to go into the break with.

Tomori has been pretty good. We may have a decision to make at CB once Rudi is healthy. 

Frank is a man after our hearts playing these academy boys non stop. 

Thought Tamori played well. Kovacic had a good half and of course Abraham. He held the ball up well and fought hard against their defence. Emerson stupidly raised an arm off the ball. Barkley is growing into it a bit after a very slow start. Come on Chelsea lets finish it off early with a 3rd from Abraham.
