Probably more important that we win the league game aginst them. Can't see them having such luck three times in a row.

Feel badly done by but eh whatever, it is what it is. 

I was really impressed in the 2nd half, how United managed to salvage anything nevermind a win I'll never know, we were by far the better team in that half.

It's a funny game though, if only we had a leftback even slightly better than shocking we wouldn't have lost tonight but it is what it is and we are out. Think Frank will have learned some lessons tonight though.

CHO irritates me. Isn't he supposed to be the next best thing? Can he beat any defender one on one? All he did for 90 minutes was receive the pass and pass it back. Oh, and he can't shoot worth sh*t.

Becoming a habit this against them. 

We created Jack sh*t bar that goal, at home against a team struggling that’s not good enough. Probably our only hope of a trophy too.

Shame 

Truly awful Utd side, We really did ourselves no favours tonight losing to that shower of sh+te.

The only positive is they may stick with Ole for a little while longer.

I agree there coco. It is the main reason I am not as sold as many on here about Jorginho and Kovacic as a regular 1st choice pairing in the centre of midfield. 

Kante walks straight back in for Kovacic when he is fit IMO. He offers so much more all over the pitch, but especially in the final third.

We were supposed to have learned last time against them were we not?

Although I am pissed off with some of our players the ref and the fact that we lost to that load of crap again it is not a game I am losing sleep over. 

They would swap this result for our manager and team, champions league football and our position in the league at a drop of a hat

I know what you mean. Maybe he just needs more time.

Meh. We were the better team but it's one of those days. I'd rather it happened tonight than in an important competition. At least it gave James a chance to impress.

Oh come on Just, if Barkley put in that performance that Kovacic did you would be saying he needs to be a starter. 

He drastically improved in the 2nd half. Jorgi and Kova were definitely slow in the first half though, as was everyone. 

On the plus side we have one less fixture to worry about during the hectic christamas period and we didnt lose any players to injury...   I just hope Jorginho and Kova have some lefr in the gas for this weekend and ajax and tuesday

But we wouldn't have won either, With one shot on target and Pedro blundering into everybody with his sh*t timing and care of the ball they still would have scored one against us.

Sometimes losses tell you more than wins.

We do definitely need another LB and probably a world class winger too.

So far the first eleven that Lampard goes for in the league are the best of the lot. 

No one stood out for me in this game. they were all subpar a few more than others.

Shame 

To be fair, with the exception of Williams, they had experienced players right from the off, and brought Martial and Perreira as subs. We had Guehi and Gilmour starting and a number of experienced players still out or rested.

All thought Im still frustrated about the game Im not going to let this mar our other performances this season. On any other day the result could have been different based of individual errors and refereeing.
