Chelsea v Crystal Palace (PL) Sat 9th Nov 12:30 GMT

We're in control of the game, but Palace have been difficult to break down. This match reminds me a bit of the Newcastle match from a few weeks back in terms of the way they were hard to break down and trying to frustrate us.

Pulisic is lively and our most dangerous attacking threat. His movement and ball control is excellent.

James doing a terrific job on Zaha. Doesn't look out of place in the big league.

Just need to be smarter and quicker going forward. Feels like it's only a matter of time until we eventually break through and the flood gates open up.

You actually couldn’t make that up ?

I was just about to post that, embarrassing, Dean doesn't have a clue, I'm 100% certain McArthur has committed 4 fouls and he hasn't received one yellow, two right on the edge of the box.

Yep, they're playing the same formation also.

James has done brilliantly, he didn't even foul Zaha either, it was a shocking call from Dean.

The star of the show is undoubtedly Mike Dean. 3 bookings for us despite only having committed 4 fouls, whereas they foul us every time we get around the box, quite cynically. Sure, we've had a load of free-kicks but only 1 booking for them. Work that one out.

Furthermore, when James queried a call with the linesman, Dean had to run the full length of the pitch to give James a lecture. Superb refereeing. What a man. What a pro. What a total c**t.

No excuses. Just a bad first half of football from both teams.

It's a derby though, a hard game like this was always in the making.

Ayew stopping Kovacic from behind when he was running into the final third and he didn't give a yellow for that, the Palace ironic cheers got to him the coward doesn't want to be booed all match

I’d quite like to see us go 4-4-2. Mount is playing higher up anyway so having Giroud or Bats there supporting Tammy would give the Palace CB’s more to worry about.

Palace have no interest in going forward, they’re here for a 0-0 and they’re on track for it at this rate.

Plenty of the ball but struggling to turn that into shots at goal. Too many times it's breaking down, when players try to come inside or pass too narrow. Would like to see more width and overlapping from James and Emerson, with some balls drilled into the box.

Willian should have scored from there. For how much we dominated the play we haven't created many clear cut chances. We are not being clinical and at some point it will start to cost us. Palace have been garbage, let's hope we win this

Kepa poor with his distribution a couple of times. The last time, with Zouma, Dean blew for a foul, and we got away with it. Dean will be kicking himself for that.

Pulisic looks confident. Not an awful lot to shout about. We're sleepwalking. We need to go for the jugular and play with a lot more urgency.
