Feel bad for Ziyech - hopefully they can sort an exemption out here to push it thru.

They have alot of injuries. It's a. farmers league & they are looking at the champions league campaign too. 

He will shine. The pace suits him & he's got world class players to take attention away from him.

Glad to see the incompetence is not just with the manager on the pitch!

Its been 7-8 months of a new ownership structure.  You only have to watch a few videos to learn that it was a pretty poorly run football club in the last few years of Roman (he did so much for the club).  Give it time - we are rebuilding for the long term again. 

We've been accused of doing what we could to deliberately sabotage this move, which leaves me wondering if we did not want it to happen why agree in the first place.

Very odd situation.

This is the kind of story in a comedy movie, you can't make it up. I feel bad for Ziyech.

 

Someone made a good point online that if Ziyech had an agent they would probably make sure this didn't happen. Even though as fans we associate agents with being greedy, they also do have their positives from the player's end. Almost like a manager making sure a record label doesn't rip off a recording artist.

But why keep a player that clearly is trying to move & the manager doesn't want? This makes no sense.

I feel bad for Hakim! Say what you may about him, he's one of the very few that has tried this season & not looked completely out of his depth. At the very least he deserves a chance to move to a club where he can try to shine like he did in the past.

Werner is a bloody genius! (Albeit not on the pitch)

Hopefully this can still go ahead somehow, he’ll stink up the dressing room if not, not a good situation.

I beg to differ. He stank the place out with his performances before the WC. That performance against Zagreb, I think it was, was one of the less interested performances I've seen a Chelsea player put. He's played well after the WC, I agree.

On the other hand, if PSG was half interested as we were for Enzo, they'd have travelled up to London (it's not bloody far away) to get all the paperwork completed in time. The LFP also had computer problems.

May be they should have sealed the deal before an hour to the end of the window. Arsenal got the  Jorginho deal done 5 hours before the deadline.

Didn't this happen before with him? I have a vague recollection of a deal falling through at the last moment a year or so ago.

Hes not the only player who has played poorly for Chelsea lately but as usual hes made a scapegoat. It's just a loan, why would psg need to come to London? What are fax machines for? Does it take 4x to fax the correct documentation? Just showing how incompetent Chelsea is. Hakim was in the winning team that won 3 trophies including the CL. Show some appreciation for that!!

Fact is, it may turn out to be a blessing. Madueke won't be able to play in the CL, so he could well be a valuable option.

As I didn't understand a word except 'cloud' of this, it indeed must be child's play. 

Anyway, was it really a mistake from our club, or a technical failure at the end of the French FA, or something else altogether  ?

Probably because someone on the management team was trying to figure out the squad for CL and realized we couldn't do it. 

It's also a ridiculous excuse tbf. Sent the wrong paperwork 3 times? Equipment breakdown? All they need is an ipad and a laptop connected to a printer. Clubs that deal with hundreds of millions of cash suddenly aren't well-equipped with state of the art technology? 

I thought you could not possibly see a player look more disinterested than Ziyech has playing for us, but after this, if he is ever asked to take to the field for us again, I think he'll blow his own disinterested record out of the water!
