March 3, 20206 yr If the team can muster a really determined effort, then I think we could well make this a close competitive match tonight, especially with pool having some poorer matches recently. Wouldn't be surprised if like before the Super Cup back at the start of the season when some expected us to take a heavy beating, if instead it is a very close and even game that could well be a draw again in normal time - though if it does go to penalties again hopefully we will emerge triumphant this time round! To be honest against that lot, especially this season, any win will do! Up the Blues!
March 3, 20206 yr I think we will tonight though not sure quite how, perhaps VAR to the rescue [emoji6]
March 3, 20206 yr Anyone involved in the Lo Celso decision making fiasco should still be on gardening duties.

March 3, 20206 yr Goodnes gracious Pedro and Barkley starting again.Don't we have any young players that could come in when we have so many injuries.Honestly would rather watch us lose with some youngsters than watching Pedro and Barkley play.
March 3, 20206 yr Seeing Willian - Giroud - Pedro is so depressing, holy sh*t. Not that we have other options... Edited March 3, 20206 yr by dR3
March 3, 20206 yr Don't know what Frank is doing here. We're missing Jorginho for about 4 games coming up, it would make most sense to play him now since he cant' in the others.
March 3, 20206 yr Whats the word on Emerson? Injury that I haven't heard about, or has he fallen out of Frank's good graces? I honestly can't remember when I saw him last on the team sheet

March 3, 20206 yr One of those really rare occurences where I actually get to see a game live on TV !! I was at the bridge for the famous 4-2 cup tie over this lot, what a game that was !! Let's hope for a repeat

March 3, 20206 yr 433 formation, should be interesting. Alonso as left back is the only choice for me, Dave just isn't great there and let's not talk about Emerson. Edited March 3, 20206 yr by Malcolm9

I would say it is not a serious selection from Frank. Recalls the keeper he dropped, puts Alonso at Left Back, starts Barkley, Willian and Pedro.
March 3, 20206 yr We are justified to prioritise the league and rotate, interested in seeing how Kepa does after sitting out the last few games. Liverpool though, tut tut, they should be going full strength to try to win the cup. Oh well gives us a better chance at it.
