No doubt they've been reading about him being just a lower league journeyman by fans of the club he actually plays for. We're lucky to not be offered a few footballs and a couple of goal nets

With Jackson looking better atm he can be the backup so Broja isnt needed. " With Jackson looking better, .........so Broja isn't needed " I obviously haven't been paying attention 😂

January 31, 20242 yr Motherf**ker. Give it a bloody rest. Do you ever do anything on here except bash Broja? It's so tiresome.

That "league 2 journeyman" is so bad he managed to get us to get spanked by Liverpool just by being on the bench! Now that's some black magic right there!

February 1, 20242 yr I'm all for letting Broja go IF we have a replacement lined up. Otherwise are we really going to spend the season with Jackson as our only recognised striker? What happens if Jackson gets a long term injury, Palmer false-9 or Nkunku up front for the rest of the season? Or maybe Dujuan Richards who is yet to ever play competitive professional football? David Washington who hasn't had more than 10 minutes all season to lead the line maybe?

February 1, 20242 yr Pretty sure Broja will be departing tomorrow, either on loan or permanently. The fact that he didn't even get on as sub tonight suggest that we are preparing the paperwork.

Clearly the likelihood is he is leaving otherwise Poch would have subbed him on as he has done when he is on the bench. So if you are not going to use him why bother taking him there? Sounds like Fulham are front runners. Loan fee, buy option of about 25mill, full wages covered.

Maybe as emergency back up if we had a early injury that would have been too soon for Nkunku to come on. Bit of a reach though. Jimenez injury surely gets this pushed through today. They’d be crazy to go into the second half of the season with 1 fit natural striker 👀

Our defenders are struggling making the adjustment of marking a statue like Broja all week in training and then going into games against players that move Journo's now reporting we've got serious and offered him to Fulham, Wolves and West Ham for £5m on loan and no obligation but no interest. For a player of Broja's calibre. You'd expect that to be the transfer fee not a loan fee.
February 1, 20242 yr I suspect we will end up loaning him out on the hope that he has a good loan and they can get something for him in the summer.
February 1, 20242 yr If we don't have a replacement coming in and it looks like we don't. There is no way we should be letting him go. Absolute madness from us if we green light this and I can't understand the manager agreeing to it if he has.

Maybe they want to cut their losses and go with a number 10 playing as a false 9 rather than having an actual number 9 playing as a false 9

He's not been banging them in but having an actual striking presence on the field does impact the game and open up channels. Edited February 1, 20242 yr by Erik
