I reckon we have a replacement for Broja lined up and we will see some final day madness that sees him out on loan and a new striker come in.

Who though? I really have zero idea at all at the moment.

Unfortunately Dion Dublin is loving his TV career now.

Hmm if we are going back then I would ask for Juan Pablo. Could do with an Angel watching over us...

Selling Broja to get Dhuran makes little sense to me.

It does for me. If you look at his goal record in the MLS, pretty poor, and his record with Villa 25 games 2 goals), it means What's the Mata will be able to bit*h at him like he does Broja.

At least the middle aged gits on here, (looking at you @Scott Harris) ;), will be able to listen to Duran Duran....lol

I think if we step away from the academy youngster hype, the previous injury (which loads of players have)I think that @Whats_The_Mata? is right. I think he is actually one of the poorest centre forwards we have had in a long while. To me, he just doesn't have it and keeping him is just preventing other youngsters coming off the production line getting the chance to prove themselves. Washington and Burstow must be frustrated tha their chance may pass them by without getting an opportunity.

Burstow looked a million miles off being an EPL centre forward in pre-season.

Looking at Broja's latest performances we might be as well to play Badiashile up top - at least he'd win a header. Like a modern day Steve Walsh or Paul Warhurst.

Crazy to think he's 6'3 and has bullet rapid pace, he's basically a physical specimen with every advantage in the game but he can't do the simple things correct. Like he has no strikers instinct at all, he just wants to do the same thing over and over again.

Looking at them I'd say he's got the attacking movement of a modern day Steven Hawking. A worse first touch through sadly.

Never will understand people saying we can't get rid of deadwood like Broja without a replacement.

What exactly is there to replace?

Exactly.  At this point we don't have to go to an Osimhen,  we just need a step up from Broja, and there is at least half a dozen players reasonably cheap and with a better instinct.

It's all well and good waiting to get a replacement first, but Broja's value is plummeting each time he takes the field.

I find it funny most of the fanbase want to give Mudryk more time but dont to Broja coming back from a really bad injury.

Totally agree Jack. He is still only 22 and coming back after a really bad injury. He has all the tools physically. He scored goals in the Academy, he scored goals on loan in the top Dutch league. I won't be giving up on him as quickly as some.

I actually watched him at Southampton and he was quite good, I was looking forward to seeing him back at the club and what he could do playing alongside better footballers.

That injury really messed him up, both physically and mentally, he looks scared and devoid of any confidence.

100% i still think he has huge potential, hes not playing well but i think its so harsh how many are turning on him.
