It's shambolic to be making the same mistakes 12 months on with no plan or change to the system. What's the point of our attacking front line next season when the back 5 are utter garbage?

We used to be known for our defensive organisation and difficult to break down but this season is the worst I have ever seen a Chelsea team defend in all my 33 years. Its abysmal

People on here were saying getting top four would be a great achievement given the team Lampard had, with Hazard leaving and the players at his disposal. We've done better than expected and the youngsters have done better than expected too. What we can't change, is the mediocre defence and inconsistent experienced players.

Reality is this game is over. Their keeper has made one save all day, from a long range shot. 

Just think of all those dropped points that would have helped us secure top 4. Just 1 or 2 wins would have done it.

That is a bit harsh. They are starting to fade off now, but they got us as high as 3rd with 4 games of the season to go.

Agreed. We’ve offered nothing going forward. The subs haven’t done anything either. 

Never mind top 4 but I'm just praying we can keep the Bayerb tie to single digits in a few weeks.

Better defensive tactics, VAR doing it's job properly, us being more clinical at vital times, there are many reasons why we haven't secured top 4.
