Everybody knew he had potential, the thing was who was willing to pay 30 mil for potential. but big ups to him, he improved a lot at Wolves and he fits perfectly in their system.

Never thought I’d say this but I hope Arsenal don’t bottle this against Watford. I’d like Villa to stay up especially at the expense of Watford with the way they treated Pearson.

The majority of them weren't penalties either, but VAR gives them anyway.

We were happy to pay 75 million for a potentially good young keeper and 60 million for a potentially good young American winger. So 30 million on potential is not an issue for us. We spent that on Barkley and Drinkwater when it was apparent to all that they’d already not lived up to any potential they may have had.
