All been a bit quiet about Samuels-Smith since we signed him. I'd assumed that was because he was a mile off being ready for the first team squad ! 

Not been a great transfer on the whole. Had a very good calender year in 2021, other than that, he has barely played having cost us £50m and collected astronomical wages. 

Hopefully gets a permanent transfer off the back of this.

I rate him highly and think he deserved a lot better than this.

Honestly Crystal Palace have no idea how lucky they are to have him. In the right system, none of the inverting bo**ocks, he’s a quality left back.

I wish him the best but I can’t see him succeeding here at all as long as Maresca is here.

Gusto LB with Reece, Trev, Caicedo or Disasi at RB

Reece at LB with Gusto, Trev, Caicedo or Disasi at RB

Colwill at LB with Trev, Tosin, Badiashile or Disasi as CBS

All of these options already used ahead of Ben this season.

How we've done the overhaul is deservedly criticised, that it was needed shouldn't be.

The bolted bits quite ironic because if it was up to most fans especially on here we'd currently be on season 6 with a Championship level manager.

And only 4 of those players were in our top 11 for minutes played that season. All the owners had to do was make a few smart signings and sales and instead decided to drop a bomb of sh*t.

Id say Porto after we hired their manager, but we tried to dismantle Porto. I'd argue any A**x side from the  90's easpecially the Davids era. 

Our new owners went down the route of trying to dismantle a fetish club in Brighton and Hove when they took over and installed the venue owner for a manager.

Seems he was loaned as a backup for Tyrique Mitchell by Palace. Only started the FA cup match v Millwall since he was loaned out. Crazy how far he has fallen.

ACL + hamstring injuries can do that to someone.

After last night Chilwell has a better goals per minute rate in the league than Nkunku.

Lampard and Coventry trying to get him (on loan i would think), we should just let him either go on a free or cancel his contract

Looking at the relative cover we have in various positions Maresca could do worse than reintegrate him into the squad, unless his injuries have affected him too greatly.

If its the later a sale or loan, so be it? Marescas focus is and must be on the matchday squad in hand.

is it still open? i think my membership has lapsed.

I just want to go on record that I think it's a disgrace how we treated Ben. He's had injury problems, but when he was fit him and Reece were amazing, and he had a habit of popping up with goals as well. First Poch insists he can only play LW, which of course he's sh*t at because he's a defender, then he's just bombed out, when we only had Cucurella available playing every game.
