When you want one match where it all comes together, today is that day........I hope and pray.

I would love to smash this lot, they are the team I can't stand the most.

Couldn't agree more. Last week they were up in arms about how bad they were. But now with a fortunate win over Newcastle and a plucky victory over European bottlers PSG they're acting all Billy Big Bollocks. I really really hope we can put them back in their place.

I’m hoping this is the second half Against arsenal under conte where everything just clicked and we didn’t look back for the rest of the season

I don't care about the good result they had during the week. Football is a game of many matches, we too could have had a win, a lose or a draw before this game. So winning a match before this match is irrelevant to this match.

It's a shame that so many people in the world do not have any business commenting about football, they don't know anything about football. Seriously, for now, with how difficult the premier league is now, against big teams, I feel we should be using two defensively minded midfielders in that midfield behind Havertz.

It's not irrelevant, hephzibah.

For someone who thinks he/she is above others when it comes to commenting about football, you do talk a huge amount of tosh.

Confidence is a huge factor when it comes to individual players or teams playing well. No-one is saying that Chelsea are incapable of getting a result because of the United result mid-week, only that a good win often gives impetus to go out and consistently play well.

We've only won won five out of our last fifteen away games and haven't won in our last seven visits to OT pretty worrying stats. No Mount on the wing hopefully and Zylech even if not fully fit can give Tubby Shaw the runaround.

We are a pretty good team when everyone is fit. I don’t see any reason we can’t win. I am worried that we are overplaying Werner.

United fans on RC they are wary of their midweek win being another 'false dawn'. So the confidence factor hasn't worked it's way into the fans yet. Their almost as miserable as some on here ?

They see Fernandes as their key player and the majority want the same team as in midweek.

I have a feeling Frank will start with all 3 Jorginho Kovacic and Kante today.

Chilwell and James to have big games attacking the space in the corners and stretching that back three.

Make no mistakes this is a six-pointer.

We need time. We needed time to heal, now we need to time to play together so we can form the core for the future.

I was optimistic for every match so far but this for this one I got no positive expectations. United are a laughing stock but they are just ahead of us at the moment.

Except in the table, though if they win they will climb above us by a point.

For me look to contain them and let them have more possession to try and limit their counter attack potential.

Though if we go a goal down with 20 mins left then we need to go back to the pressing game high up the pitch.

As they are behind us in the table there is more pressure for them to win so give them the ball for us to play counter attack.

It's really difficult to win a game at Old Trafford, I dare say it's one of the hardest fixtures we have, if not the hardest of the season. So no kneejerk reactions like we got after the Spurs game, try to be level headed about it. United are very good against the top sides and sitting back, I hope Frank goes for the smart choice and makes it a boring game. We can outplay them and dominate possession, but that won't matter, it will only play into their hands.

As much sh*t as I've given Lamps for starting Mount, I wouldn't be against it this time.

Sat watching hammers v man cit eh via but sports and they just said that the Fulham v crystal palace game 15:00 KO can be watched after a payment of £14.95 . WTF how on earth do they expect a neutral fan to splash out that much coin to watch such a dour sounding game ? For every 100 neutrals asked my guess is you get close to 100% not in a million years . Then you have to ask how many Fulham/ palace fans will pay £14.95 for said game ? Out of every 100 Fulham or palace fans asked I less than 50% from both teams will be happy to pay that amount .

on today’s game v United ,please don’t even have kepa on the bench as it defeats the object should mendy have to come off with injury Frank .

They have played one match less and we are up two points so even in the table they are better than us.

I have no problem with starting Mount. I think most of us have a problem with starting him on the wing. I dont mind him as an INVERTED winger in a 343 or as a number 10 or number 8. My problem is with him hogging the touchline because in that position he only offers us defensive stability but absolutely nothing going foward.

Really don't know what to expect today. United got their howler out the way against Spurs and have had two wins, somewhat lucky, since.

Just need to play our game.  Relieved to see Anthony Taylor at the West Ham vs. City game - we can avoid him for another week.

Come on Chelsea - just turn up and put a game together.  Someone above feared a slow start - don't fall into that trap.

I think Mount is essential for us but Kai at the central midfield can solve a game at any time he's that good so I would consider starting Havertz instead just because he has that X factor.
