April 13, 20215 yr His impact has been amazing. Never in my mind I'd have us in the CL semi and a chance at top 4.
April 13, 20215 yr He’s very impressive with his immediate after match interview. Smart and concise, knowledgeable about the game.
April 13, 20215 yr Good job today TT. Tactics and selection really spot on. Should have won but our play in the final third let down the rest of our display.
April 13, 20215 yr Tuchel is the 6th manager to reach the semi-finals of the CL after the following: • Claudio Ranieri • José Mourinho x4 • Avram Grant • Guus Hiddink • Roberto Di Matteo Edited April 13, 20215 yr by Gol15

I can only think of Liverpool twice and Atelti.

April 14, 20215 yr Tactically we're always there, our reaction after losing the ball is amazing. He's making us a side that nobody wants to meet. I'm very optimistic!

I'm always impressed when someone foreshadows what he's going to do with a team (Like prime Mourinho and Conte) and he's done just that.
April 17, 20215 yr What a job he's doing. Transformed us completely. CL-semifinal, FAC-final and we aren't done yet.

April 17, 20215 yr He’s already turning us into a team that nobody wants to play, just like he predicted. Outfoxed Guardiola today.

April 17, 20215 yr I know Bayern want Nagelsmann to replace Flick, but I'm worried they will come knocking for Tuchel if that doesn't work out for him. Get that man a contract extension ASAP.

Question is will we offer him an extension at the end of the season? Going into a new season with only 12 months left on his contract, he will have alerted possible suitors.

Now if we do that and support Tuchel with the kind of players he wants I think next season could be very, very fun. He is quite clearly a tremendous coach.

However i don't feel there's that much needed to be done with this squad, that's why I became so vocal with Lamps at the end because I felt this squad was made for a hipster type coach.

Tuchel was very good with getting good players at Dortmund. If the board actually listens to him unlike PSG, we'll be fine.

Should be no rush on that and is best he focused on the remaining games of the season. He has us in 1 final, after West Hams result top 4 is back in our hands and he has a CL semi final coming up. I am sure he knows of he delivers in these games he has a strong position for a really good new deal. If he delivers the CL then he is nailed on for a huge deal.
April 17, 20215 yr A football geek, I'm not a fan of three at the back unless if it's by managers that have it in their DNA a la Conte, Nagelsmann, Allegri etc. but he seems to master it, too, although it's not his preferred one. And he is clever to have gone back to the Conte days as this is the formation that suits this squad the best. I believe that he thinks if he is going to revert to four at the back he needs a full pre season to do the adjustments and maybe go back in the market for some quality signings in key areas to help him implement that formation. Happy days, we seem to have hit the peak at the right time.
April 17, 20215 yr We seem to be hitting form and finding that killer instinct at just the right time. Been a good day today with West Ham losing as well.
April 17, 20215 yr Good timing to pick up form. Second consecutive final, let’s see if we can cross the line this time.
