We reached the semis 4 times with Mourinho? I can only think of Liverpool twice and Atelti.

I think I counted the season with Grant as fully Mourinho's or something so it's my mistake it's really 3 times!

Tactically we're always there, our reaction after losing the ball is amazing. He's making us a side that nobody wants to meet. I'm very optimistic!

As he vowed in his first press conference. I'm always impressed when someone foreshadows what he's going to do with a team (Like prime Mourinho and Conte) and he's done just that.

What a job he's doing. Transformed us completely.

CL-semifinal, FAC-final and we aren't done yet.

Just goes to show England had it right with crooked Big Sam.

There is no doubt though he has done well so far. Question is will we offer him an extension at the end of the season? Going into a new season with only 12 months left on his contract, he will have alerted possible suitors.

I really hope we do.

Now if we do that and support Tuchel with the kind of players he wants I think next season could be very, very fun. He is quite clearly a tremendous coach.

Tbh if there's one chink in Tuchel's armour it's the market.

However i don't feel there's that much needed to be done with this squad, that's why I became so vocal with Lamps at the end because I felt this squad was made for a hipster type coach.

Tuchel was very good with getting good players at Dortmund. If the board actually listens to him unlike PSG, we'll be fine.

Should be no rush on that and is best he focused on the remaining games of the season.

He has us in 1 final, after West Hams result top 4 is back in our hands and he has a CL semi final coming up.

I am sure he knows of he delivers in these games he has a strong position for a really good new deal. If he delivers the CL then he is nailed on for a huge deal.

A football geek, I'm not a fan of three at the back unless if it's by managers that have it in their DNA a la Conte, Nagelsmann, Allegri etc. but he seems to master it, too, although it's not his preferred one. And he is clever to have gone back to the Conte days as this is the formation that suits this squad the best. I believe that he thinks if he is going to revert to four at the back he needs a full pre season to do the adjustments and maybe go back in the market for some quality signings in key areas to help him implement that formation.

Happy days, we seem to have hit the peak at the right time.
