Its hard, Werner missed too many chances and his too furstrating to watch for me for him to be 2nd but theres no one that have been good for the whole season, maybe Azpilicueta?.

Anyway i picked Kanté because he's been at his best the past couple of months.

Thiago Silva has been our most consistent performer and I personally think he is the main reason why our defence has been so good. Mendy has been good too, but he's behind Silva because I feel Silva has played a bigger contribution overall. Kante behind them because he's been a bit of a mixed bag this season.

Kante just from Mendy. To be honest I’d have had them as joint second if I could.

Kante for me. Mendy, Silva, and Reece all been big this season as well. But, Kante's been on another level when he's been fit

I went for Rudiger though I acknowledge: 1) it may be more about the rate of improvement; 2) it’s a bit unfair given that he was only really playing for half a season. Silva and Christensen were my other contenders, and then Kante. The clear pattern emerging from the voting, unsurprisingly, is the strengthening of our defence and, by the same token, the work that our attacking players have ahead of them. Next year I want a Werner or a Havertz to be POTY, while the defenders maintain their superb form. 

Kante followed by Mendy.  

Quite a few on here were talking about Kante as a potential player of the year before he got injured in January. 

He is a player that has to be 100% fit, but at his best he is still a massive influence on the team and how we play, both defensively and offensively.

I voted Rüdiger based entirely on recency bias, but Silva is probably the correct pick here. Even if he’s not playing, I think our defence play better just by knowing that he’s watching.

After Mason is a huge gulf considering how up and down everyone was.

Mendy and Thiago Silva had the biggest influences on the team. Mendy's play and Silva's passion (never knew he was like this until I saw it every week) and leadership. No way we're here without either of them two. 

The player of the season is Mount though and long may he reign. JT started my love for Chelsea but I never got to see him go from academy to starter to the legend he is now but seeing Mount doing this fills me with joy.
