It’s failed 95%+ of the times we played it under different managers. You can count on one hand how many times we’ve looked good with a false 9. It’s pitiful he doesn’t even attempt to play with a striker. Keep Broja around if you dislike Tammy that much. It seriously worries me that he sees the false 9 as the way forward if/when Lukaku is unavailable.

Bringing on subs for penalties never works, I don't understand the point in it. Mentally, the players coming on aren't ready.

Mount and Pulisic didn't do enough as subs against an average team. Not a good sign for the start of the season when the biggest hope for the win is Kepa as the sub and not them.
