I think this season he has been decent as a CB and good for squad harmony. As long as we don't judge him on RB performances as he is not a RB.

Too cheap. If he has to be sold 25mill is a joke. Homegrown, can play multiple positions and is hitting his mid 20s. Perfect time to buy.

40mill should be the bare minimum.

He's being makeweight for a CB that will spend 80% of the season in the hospital bed and another CB that makes more individual errors than Anthony Taylor.

Given the second part of your comment describes both Badiashile and Disasi maybe that should be "and another two CBs"

In todays market, £25m does seem low....

But trev is replaceable.

He is better than Badiashile & Disasi IMO, + he brings versatility. It will be madness to sell him for pure profit.

Yep. Sell Chalobah and we have immediately made our squad weaker. Silva's gone, if Chalobah is sold, that leaves Colwill, Badiashile and Disasi, and only one of those players I rate more than Chalobah. I don't even consider Fofana right now because he has had so many injuries that by the time he returns, he's going to be a completely different player.

Almost every player is replaceable. Sometimes yoy have to spend a lot to do so, but 25mill gets you a devide Washington so yeah way too cheap.

Again, if we are selling our academy produced players purely just to comply with financial rules and for no other reason that is terrible, awful financial mismanagement of our club.

I might be wrong, but how many other EPL teams are being forced to sell academy players just to stay the right side of the regulations ?

I don’t want to see him sold, but I can understand the logic. Plus I think we’d move for a top center back regardless, so a few moving pieces here. 

Disasi and Badiashile are probably Stewart's pet players from his Monaco days, and presumably the owners are heavily invested in the decision to recruit Wesley Fofana and in giving Colwill a big contract, so Trev unfortunately is the odd man out at centre back in terms of not really having a "sponsor" in the board room. 

100% Pochettino wants to keep him. I think he'd have wanted to keep Thiago Silva as well if that had been an option on the table.

Selling Chalobah for 25M while signing for Badiashile and Disasi 33M and 40M is horrendous business.

Love his attitude. Always a professional, never complains, never bad articles coming out he is unhappy. Players wherever asked to and always gives 100%. Soldi squad player.

If we sold our youth academy for pure profit and bought the best around it would be one thing. But selling trev for so cheap whilst amortising the same amount of money on Disasi who’s not as good as him seems bizarre.

Dignified, played well when he got his chance and is as good if not better than anyone else at the club at CB.

An academy player who also plays with his heart, some of the others could do with this rather than playing with their head in the sky.

Terrible decision, business or otherwise. 

We wouldn't even be talking about selling him if it wasn't for our overspending on a lot of bang average players .

I can't see any other club who are being forced to sell only their academy players to try and comply with spending limits.

First club linked to him, in Younes latest upload, is Fulham. Said to be in negotiations for a fee around 25mill to 30mill including add ons.

I don't want us to sell Chalobah at all, but surely he is better than Fulham. That would be a major step down for him.

I wouldn't be surprised if United go in for him. Varane is leaving, Evans is old and Maguire is sh*t.
