To lose an FA Cup Final? Well ok, you can’t win ‘em all. Losing two in a row is somewhat unfortunate. But to lose three consecutive FA Cup Finals is f**king careless whichever way you look it it.

Surprising that a player with such technique and intelligence like Mount is awful at penalties. Kind of saw this coming when he delayed to kick it after the ref blew the whistle. Oh well, guess our season is done. Just need one more win to qualify to Champions League and put this season behind us.

Top keeper saves those penalties Mendy couldn't. Had enough of Tuchel, to defensive and stubborn, weird coach really. Werner is a first team regular for months then doesn't play a minute when Liverpool are tiring.

This club has a mental block against Liverpool.

Mount should have never ever take a pen again. I knew he was going to f**ked it up. he just have bo balls to take a pen, he thinks he’s too smart for a keeper but he’s not.

Sorry, this just isn't good enough.  Can gloss it any way you want, but this collection of Chelsea players are simply nearly men.

Five consecutive domestic cup finals, one goal.  I'm not even disappointed at this now - if you can't score then you are never going to win.  Luck never quite seems to be on our side, and we do this to ourselves.

I don't think that group of players has the bottle.  I don't want to single anyone out, but collectively they are a fragile group of players, and individually even weaker.

What is it, like one or two good penalty shootouts in the last 20 years?

We absolutely SUCK at them and i'm pissed off.

Same here. I just don't get that decision to put Azpi as the 2nd one when we had Ziyech as the 6th option.

Very even match all in all over 120 minutes I thought. Should of taken our many chances esp Pully before it got to the lottery. Always painful to watch a losing shootout feel for Mason he’s been our best attacking asset all season and one would of expected a better pen from him. Proud of all the players today haven’t lost to the Dippers in 2 finals and kept clean sheets. If we could only finish……

That is so well said.  We need a big refresh.  Time for Dave, Rudi, Jorginho, Ziyech and others to roll on.  Just not champions mentality - they all seem pretty comfortable and within themselves far too often.  

Poor Mount - jinxed at Wembley.

When you bear in mind that Liverpool have 5 strikers that could all arguably start ahead of any of ours, we did well but alas, it wasn't quite enough. If all those chances had fallen to someone else rather than Pulicic, it might have been different...............................

When he walked up all I could think of was his Norwich miss.  Just no conviction in his penalties.

We are cursed at Wembley, used to be a fortress, horrible record there now. Just hope that is Azpi’s last kick of a ball for Chelsea.
