Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2022/23

Looks like Rodgers has won himself some time. Fear poor Steve Cooper might be on borrowed time though.

Reckon Musiala would trump De Bruyne as the biggest ex-Chelsea player ever. Only 19, & already won 2 Bundesliga & a CL. 18 goals & 11 assists in 33 starts is ridiculous, he is an Haaland-level talent.Could end up being the most decorated club player ever.

Interesting piece on City’s new sponsorship deal. Seems very suspect. One day, the truth will come out about City and their over inflation of deals. The fact that they only got out FFP because of loophole says it all. They’re apparently very aggressive in shutting down journalists and stories.

Wow, just wow.

Criminal that mainstream outlets are not reporting this.

As you say, they must be passing brown envelopes and making all kinds of threats to keep articles like this in the shadows.

Yeah the fact that UEFA caught them but the only thing that saved them was a technical loophole about statues of limitations, says it all.

One day, the truth will come out. It always does. Given their dominance, I would imagine there will be anger.

It was worse than that - it was Man City's repeated delays in cooperating with UEFA that caused those statues of limitations to be breached. The allegation is that City stalled UEFA's investigation until the statute of limitations expired, meaning they could investigate but never enforce the rules. At that point, UEFA disbanded FFP because it was effectively unenforceable.

Cooper gets a stay of execution. Top work from his media team to put out all those Benitez rumours to put the owners off making a change. Very well played.

Wow, Forest must have really been spooked by the Benitez rumours. They've just extended Cooper's contract:

I know. It’s a mix of luck and fighting spirit unfortunately. Conte has taught them to win ugly im afraid

It's only good to win ugly if you do it occasionally when required on off days.

Doing it week in week out always catches you up in the end.

man, spuds scored in the 20th minute and after that they had ZERO f**king shots on target for the rest of the game. all they do is stiff the box with 10 bodies and wait for the ball's lucky bounce just to hoof it all over the pitch for a counter. tony pulis should be proud

disgusting

Billy Gilmour got 5 minutes again

today i feel Lampard will beat Man Utd. Calvert-Lewin suppose to be in contention, if he is going to play against Martinez he might have a problem

i saw United struggle against the team from Cyprus with their "strongest" 11

Hang on a minute, the ball hit Scamacca's hand as he controlled it, you can see the ball's spin change as it bounces off his fingers!

I thought no goal no matter what if it hits a hand?!

The lack of consistency is bizarre.
