Didn’t see any football today but just read on BBC sports that Alexander Arnold lost the ball 20 times in the first 45 mins. How is this even possible from a world class fullback playing in a world class team managed by a world class manager.

He would have to lose the ball on average every two minutes, it doesn't sound possible.

Probably a mid-quote. Maybe the whole team lost possession 20 times.

“Alexander-Arnold, while not alone in his indifferent performance, lost possession 20 times in a first 45 minutes at Selhurst Park that left much to be desired.”

He lost the ball 5 times, which is pretty bad for a defender, in our game against Southampton, none of our defenders lost the ball more than once.

I think Casemiro was marginally (literal millimetres) offside there, but it would have been incredibly harsh not to give it (same as Lukaku's goal from the League Cup Final last season). Good call.

Sp*rs weren’t very good on Sunday…sheff Utd just gave them another reality check.
Mad that the two teams who beat Chelsea in last 2 PL games lost to lower league opposition in the cup tonight. Says a lot about them…and us.

Yup Saints and Spurs are not good sides, both are poor compared to what they should be.

However we are setting new standards that even they could not fail to beat.

All the 'good' teams are finding their form 🤫 Let's say we beat Leeds or Liecester, or even both. How the far we are going to survive against the likes of Manchester teams, Arsenal, Liverpool ? Spurs is sh1te, which made that comprehensive defeat on Sunday just a bit more unforgivable.

Borussia Dortmund taking on RB Leipzig at home tonight, with Dortmund going for their 10th straight win in all comps.

We could do with Leipzig getting something tonight, just to dent Dortmund's confidence a bit !

Nkunku and Gvardiol starting for Leipzig, with Werner on the bench.

0-0 after 17 minutes ...

2-0 after 41 minutes. Whoscored have Gvardiol on a 5.8 rating and Nkunku on a 5.6 so far. Sounds like they'll fit Potter's system perfectly LOL

I really admire Marco Reus, haven't watched the game, just know he scored one, but this guy has been hampered by major injuries every single year but whenever he's fit he's absolutely world class and at this age still. Would have loved to have him here in an alternative universe alongside an also fit Eden.

Arsenal winning the title is a pisser but it annoys Spurs more than us.

But I'm begging to worry about that mob Spurs and the CL.

What an awful thing that would be ?

They are still in it ain't they ?

Yes. They lost 1-0 in the first leg against AC Milan.
