Jorginho going toe to toe with the energy and power of Gundogan, Rodri and Silva… lol

he only has to put on his coat and sit on the bench and bring arsenal bad luck and sabotage them for the 3rd game in a row

Only decent piece of football news is Arsenal lost 🤔 Agent Jorginho actually played well in possession, apart from letting people get past him too easily, which Artea knew all about it before the signing.

I know on here that anti Arsenal sentiment means that most will be pleased, but frankly, I find it so depressing that City have won another title. There’s no doubt, we have a Bundesliga Bayern Munich situation here. They’ll win eight or nine out of every ten titles for decades to come. Even their lawyers are unbeatable.

I don't know what you're so depressed about, they have the best coach in the world.

It's just good planning coming to fruition, legality and morality doesn't really matter

This is quite clearly one of Guardiola's final seasons. They aren't Bayern, they're more akin to PSG and they would happily trade half their league titles for just one CL.

As for Arsenal, their performances of late threaten to expose a fragile mentality. Should they win the league this year it will be more akin to Leiceister or us any time in the last 10 years - a great season that masks a horrid underbelly.

I just find the forgone conclusion of it makes it feel a complete waste of everyone else’s time. They do have the best coach, players, recruitment, scouts, boardroom, marketing etc. And yes, even lawyers. So there will be no change to their dominance anytime soon. The only thing they don’t have is any real character. Despite being best at everything, they are an awfully dull vanilla sort of club.

I fully expect that they’ll achieve their first CL this season.

To be fair this is a unique situation in world football. Do anyone hate City? I am not talking about the way they conduct their business to try and make them look like they are this huge club, on par with the renowned ones. Because we all know they cook the books and they are not as big as others, no matter how much they try.

But as rivals? Who are their rivals? Because nobody seems to consider themselves as having City their arch rivals to be honest. United should be the closest thing to come in mind, but even them seem to not care that much about City.

If City would win 19 league titles on the trot and in the 20th season they would fight Liverpool and Chelsea for the title, I genuinely think United and Arsenal fans would still cheer for City to win their 20th, just to see their rivals leave empty handed.

There is just something about City that makes you ignore them, not care about them, they are just dull as a brand and can't seem to be able to create a big rivalry no matter how much they try. The fact they are everybody's favourites speaks volumes. You have United and Chelsea fight for the league title, other would want City to win it, you have Liverpool and Arsenal fight, other want City to pip them, you have Chelsea and Arsenal fight, others would rather have City win it. I mean they are like a toy, comes in handy and saves you from seeing your rivals win anything.

I can understand the sentiment with being sick of City winning titles year after year. It would be 5 titles in 6 seasons if they won it again.

On the other hand, they're largely an irrelevance in most people's minds.

They don't really matter do they? We'd be in their shoes too had Roman built a proper structure or had Todd employed a better manager.

It is what it is. I'd rather them than Arsenal, have you not read the posts Chelsea fans typed that praised Arteta's management skills?

I don't disagree with you all about them not really being a club that anyone has a particular rivalry with and therefore being of little interest. I guess that living in Stockport which is where all their fans live, I just have to put up with a lot of their smug superiority complex crap all the time.

I still think Arsenal will win the league though definitely a hard time for them now.

City might yet implode as the Premier league case against them becomes clearer and players start thinking of getting out before restrictions bite.

City won the league last night.

They've been in this situation 4-5 times now. They know how to grind out results now until the end of the season. Arsenal still vastly inexperienced in this area and its good to see their 2007-2011 self by dropping off in the second half of the season.

5 in 6 is really dominating the league. I wonder when will that era end...
