If City gets penalised by the FA in the domestic PL, be it points deducted, relegation, a fine, or a transfer ban, will this affect them in the European competitions or does UEFA not care if a team gets found guilty of dodging finances by the local football association? So, if they were found guilty tomorrow by the FA, will they be kicked out of the CL?

Maybe we've been ultra busy in the market becoz we are next on the investigation list...

Impossible at this point. Our finances were dug through with the finest of combs.  If there were any wrongdoings, we would have been outed first

If Pep leaves City, should Todd go for him?

As much as i'm in the give Potter time camp; I think you'd be daft not to try.

No guarantee he says yes of course, but if an opportunity like that presents itself then you should at least ask the question.

If Pep were to leave I wouldn't be surprised if every top club in Europe tried to poach him. I also expect he will want to take a break for a little while before choosing his next job.

The Secret Ingredient Is Crime Jbone666 GIF - The Secret ...

Surely any punishments have to be long lasting given the length of the cheating. Giving them a 10 point deduction and a fine won’t really hurt them.

Got to be restrictions on spending alongside it as well. PL won’t relegate them I’m sure of it.

There's genuine talk of relegation. It's whether or not the Premier League has the bollocks to afford losing one of its "biggest" assets.

We went from a top 4 - to a top 6 - to a top god knows what now, top 8?, assets can be easily transferred, these star players and star manager will go elsewhere. Premier League wouldn’t have thrown City under the bus if there was a top 2 but with so many big franchises, to coin a term from Boehly, there’s an embarrassment of riches and City falling off the pack is a drop in the ocean. Eras come and go anyway, KDB isn’t getting any younger, signings won’t always work out, Pep won’t always be top dog.

Their revenue is false, their fan base isn’t what it may seem, they have not represented the PL effectively in Europe, Manchester football economy will be fine because of United. Having said all this and getting excited over the charges, after a deep dive I’m starting to think yet again they will get away with it now (too radical and open to mitigation); my optimism has gone but time will tell.

They are saying 22 months and that is ‘after’ the judgement, so the timescale is ridiculous on this one. Not to mention it will all be held in private.

City hired best lawyers money could get, so expect a long fight. I reckon any punishment won't be given out until next season. They should be punished once proven guilty, but you got the likes of Piers Morgan screaming immediate points deduction,  just so his team could have a free run to the title. I remember last season when we were punished, no other clubs said anything positive about us even the whole war is out of control of Roman and the club, so f* them when the shoes is on them ( or any other clubs be charged )

The likes of Shearer demanded Abramovich openly oppose Putin, even though you would think - if he had any clue about the real world - he would be aware that such public opposition would almost certainly lead to ruthless assassination.

Its because too many of the idiots involved in football have no understanding of the real world, they live in this weird little bubble where they believe football to be the most important thing in existence.

What’s the betting that they’ll order the club to pay costs’ which won’t affect the owners in the slightest and everything will just carry on exactly the same way it has been. Won’t punish them in the slightest.

Love it - they should be forced to replay all of their fixtures from 2013/14. Get Yaya Touré and Zabaleta out of retirement and see if Inter will lend them Edin Džeko.

If Man City were to be stripped of their titles

Man U and Liverpool will get 3 titles each.

Stoke and Watford will be FA Cup winners.

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Sunderland and Liverpool will be League Cup winners.

But Spurs still don’t win a single thing.

A Qatari investment company, separate consortium to QSI (owners of PSG), likely going to be highest bidders in United's sale.

Both clubs would still be owned by the same Qatari royal family no matter how they try to separate their identities. Would be interesting to see if UEFA allow this to happen because it would set a dangerous precedent.

If this Qatari take over of United goes through I for one can't wait for the moral outcry from Gary Neville with regards to their spending.

Though I suspect because it is his, and the media's beloved Manchester United that they will insist it's good for football and good for the Premier League.
