So the same German media sources that said De Ligt was holding out for Bayern are now saying after the deal for Koulibaly is done, which apparently will be finished in....wait for it....48 hours, TT will have us go for Kimpembe. 

Apparently TT has been a big fan since his PSG days and Paris would be willing to sell. Could this be our back 4?

Kimpembe is another grown up player and a friend of Tiago and Tuchel.  Kounde and De Ligt? They are decent players for sure, but they are bratty children. Lets have defenders that are grown up blokes in our back line. We already have some great young CB's at the club.

 

Although i do not want Ake.  We let him go when he was not good enough and he has not got any better.

Seems the links to Ake are still there and apparently Kimpembe would not affect that. Maybe TT likes the idea of a back 3 of

Hmm maybe not, Kimpembe is left footed and left sided. I guess if he signs Koulibaly would switch to the right side...Hopefully that works out well after years on the left.

Would having three left footed CBs on the pitch mean that they could rotate and change positions all the time to confuse rotating attacking players? The headache!

I do worry for Colwill if we do end up getting both Ake and Kimpembe.

Child?, doctors declared De Ligt biologically fully matured at age 14, he became the captain of Ajax at 18 years old!, he’s been the alpha male everywhere he goes, a mature intelligent leader who just so happens to be built like a giant brick house to boot; he’s known for his impassioned dressing room & public speeches, the one to lead elders double his age into battle. Not sure where you’ve got this bratty impression from, he’s a natural born leader, a humble guy who married his childhood sweetheart and just wants to win and keep his head down, not cause drama.

Presko would be a great replacement for Rudiger. But the thing is there is not enough fire to sustain the rumours of him coming here. I just read the PSG forum where he is very highly rated and I don't really feel like they are panicking that much. He still has two years left in his contract and the general consensous is that he is forcing PSG's hand to offer him a new deal asap, worth 12M p/y. Which all the PSG fans agree with and they'd rather see him sign that deal than get sold.

Would gladly take him here if he indeed looks for a new challenge.

 i think he made some big mistakes leading to goals against Madrid in the CL

but he was fighting everyone as well which i like 

 

i think he isn't really right in the head, like pepe 

wouldn't mind him joining, but he's liable to make some mistakes

Sure, sure he is. That is great - great speeches.  Football is all about speeches. So mature, then he should just stay with Juventus then.  I suspect that he will stay with Juventus and he just created all this drama to get an improved deal?

Chelsea have opened negotiations with PSG for Presnel Kimpembe.  Good move imho.

De Ligt? De what? Going to Munich? Staying with Juve?

Chelsea still in talks with City about Ake. why? That is the problem for me.  Why sign Ake? why not just play Levi Colwill? or Chalboah? Or Ampadu?

Kounde and koulibaly would seem a natural fit, right and left , young and old, etc. Kounde speaks French if that matters. But I am learning that transfer rumors are not often correct.
