So a Rio Ferdinand story in the Daily Mail....guaranteed to be an absolute massive load of sh*t.

Agree and I expect his brother will have a dig soon too

Have seen a few pieces popping up on social media on Chelsea fan accounts that a fair amount of the fan base are already against Potter and taking their bitterness about TT sacking and dislike of Todd out on him. Not sure how accurate that is but would be a real shame of true.

Who cares. Results are what matters. Even to these people.

Well Graham and Co will need time and patience, so I hope the majority of the fan base give him that.

I’ve noticed this a bit as well.

I just hope the match day going fans can cheer on the team tonight rather than us having a flat atmosphere.

There is a point when people need to realise Tuchel isn’t coming back and it’s time to get behind the team.

Regarding Potter, some people think this job is too big for him or he will struggle against teams setting up a low block.

Maybe he will struggle or maybe he’ll be ok after a bedding in period.

Personally, I think it’s a good appointment and I’d rather Potter than Pochettino or Zidane.

It’s a bold move from Todd but I’m actually excited by it and if we have to suffer some short term indifferent results on the way to long term stability then I’m 100% behind him.

So no different to the mood around TT when he replaced Lampard then.

All pretty normal mate, only on very few occasions has the outgoing manager not had the supporters behind them. To me it shows a loyalty, they will probably be the same fans defending Potter when the sh*t hits the fan.

Not sure is exactly the same, I think a lot more had jumped on the Lamps out bandwagon and very few wanted TT gone.

TT sacking was a shock, Lamps was not.

One of the few.

He won't last the season.

Not because he's a bad manager, he isn't, he's not a special one though and a massive downgrade on Tuchel.

But ultimately he's at a club which has incredibly high expectations and an incredibly low amount of attacking quality.

Thought there were a lot positives in that game. I felt we were far more forward thinking, particularly at the end. That was pretty aggressive.

What I like is that he doesn't hang around with subs - he is willing to change things pretty quickly.

Dodgy finishing from the players; missed opportunities with taking shots and crosses due to too much hesitation.

Never seen a manager make so many baffling decisions in one game.

Sterling at LWB was ridiculous to begin with and then he topped it off by taking him off by subbing him off when we desperately needed a goal. Then he managed to pull Reece away from the dangerzone and back to defence at the same time which just made it even worse.

Didn't Sterling score.? He was probably our best player, also, so I'm not sure where the problem is?

And, I know your saying he played wing back, but when was he actually back? Most of the time he was in line with Aubameyang - I would hardly say that was a wing back position.
