This is very worrying if true. Rio Ferdinand doesn't have much incentive to just make this all up.

I take it with a pinch of salt,

Was Boehly asking tuchel questions? Yes. But he was the football director whilst we waited to hire a new one. It's a good thing to ask questions. And we've always wanted a manager to have influence upstairs, not asking questions means no communication.

Influencing team decisions? Well I'd hope he was. Tuchel was publicly saying we had no midfielders when he's got Gilmour and Chuk who could both have done a job. If I'm the owner and I'm hearing that I'm pissed off

I'd be shocked if the 443 thing was more than a brainstorming session and they accidentally added an extra name when talking about who we need to bring in. let's be honest, we've all accidentally done it in the past when doodling a team on paper.

It is a tad annoying when you realise Sarri managed to turn things around when he was given time.

Relationship between Tuchel and Boehly must of went sour quick.

It's ok for things to go South but what scares me the most now about the new ownership is that there are going to be other moments when they will disagree in approach with other parties in the club, are they just going to fire them everytime?

Probably, because they fired one of the best managers, someone that showed with his actions barely 4 months ago that he is ready to go to battle for the club and stand up for us when the hard times come.

If Tuchel was not wanting to do things the way the wanted could they not have some sort of mediation or management meeting where they discussed all options ang lay it out why he needs to work that way.

All this talk flying about of not speaking with him after Leeds game till he was fired leaves a very sour taste in the mouth and to handicap yourself after the scattergun approach of the transfer market which saw you spend nearly 300m and end up with a team that arguably is still behind your rivals, by firing the top football person in the club and replacing with another that may never reach his level (jury still out) is literally bonkers.

Boehly who publicly stated he'd be the DoF this summer is behaving the same way a DoF should. Being involved in all aspects of the club. Shocker.

It's no wonder Tuchel liked Cech and Marina because the two of them minded their own business and didn't get involved with the team. Edwards at Liverpool and Txiki at City were always involved and its no wonder they are where they are.

Also the 443 being the main headline is hilarious. Just how many times did die hard football fans make the mistake of fielding 12 players or being crossed in two minds when trying to say 442 or 443?

Should have known it was all about a pathetic little dig at Jorgi again shouldn't I. Not to mention that you can literally see in that video that he's a deep lying regista too lol.

And nice little video there with barely any clips from the 1970 World Cup which was your entire argument. Where he played as a deep sitting regista/defensive midfielder. I've happened to watch Brazils game in that world cup in recent years so I actually know what i'm talking about and you don't. But nice try 😂

"Not a regista in sight" 😂😂😂

"Gerson was the 1970's version of Andrea Pirlo in fulfilling a "regista" role,"

Whichever way you slice it, it's not been a good week for you has it Sindre? To top it all off the fan belt broke on your Ford Cortina as you came out of work at McDonalds and your bald spot has definitely got larger.

You need a holiday.

Seeing the interviews, can't help feeling he comes across as a manager of a Sunday side who can't quite believe his luck.

Hahaha - it does come across a bit like that doesn't it !

Or it is some new sitcom from Ricky Gervais ... The Office with a football theme ... with some of the dark parts of After Life thrown in for good measure ...

Seemed to get a genuine and humble guy from that short interview. None of these madness in the last week was his fault, he had to take the opportunity and who wouldn't. I'm sure he's full aware the tasks in hand, he's no longer managing a Brighton who's contend with getting some results and playing progressive football, he's the hunted one now and every poor result will be judged harshly.

So a Rio Ferdinand story in the Daily Mail....guaranteed to be an absolute massive load of sh*t.

@Valerie has  sort of temporary Tourette's when the word A** X is mentioned I have the same reaction when someone uses the word regista. I've never heard it said by pundits or anyone discussing football ever it's like a buzzword for football nerds and should be outlawed !!

Kai trains like he plays. Lazy.

In fact a lot of them train lazy by the look of it. I'd be telling the kids off if they trained like some of that lot.

No wonder our squad looks washed up the whole training and not a single drill of attacking the goal just tippy tappy stuff

looks like he really is
