And here ladies and gentlemen sums up everything I’ve said about our team.

Conor Gallagher admits Chelsea's players must accept blame and be self-critical after conceding Brighton "wanted it a bit more"

I hate when players come out and say this after game. If Brighton wanted it a bit more why didn't you?

Thought Gallagher was literally one of two players that played well yesterday. Was needlessly taken off whereas the undroppables of Mount and Havertz continued to stink up the pitch.

Really am getting worried about Potter.

Agreed, Gallagher was probably the pick of a bad bunch on the day and I think he is probably talking about team-mates (without naming names) when he said Brighton wanted it a bit more, and who can argue with him? The evidence was clear to see.

Gallagher would have been wise to keep his mouth shut.

Now I and probably many more fans will be asking why Brighton wanted it a bit more. There should never be any situation where two teams walk onto the football pitch and one of those teams wants it more than the other, unless it's something like a team fighting relegation and the other teams position is already guaranteed.

To be blunt about it, any player that didn't want it enough yesterday needs to get out of the club. I don't care who you are, if you're not giving 100%, then what are you doing playing for a club with title winning aspirations? But more importantly, you should be giving your all for yourself, the club and the fans.

Maybe Scott, will see how his teammates and the manager reacts to his comments.

Let's be honest though he is telling to truth. Chelsea don't get spanked by someone like Leeds or Brighton unless, regardless of tactical stupidity, if we don't let them.

Did Grant's incompetence lead us to a CL final? No the players made that happen. Did he lose it for us? No JT slipping on his a$$ did.

Did TT tactics cost us the games at Leeds and Saints? No our players not putting a shift in Did.

Same after yesterday. We can go on about Havertz up top, wingers at wongback etc. Does that stop them working hard and avoiding humiliation? No it does not.

Do we think Cucurella wanted to be out there taking all that hate and had the spine to deal with it? No he clearly showed he did not want it.

At 38 do you think Silva wants to play game after game when it should be him rested regardless of our bonehead call to sign a 31 year old with a history of injury issues? No he does not, he tried but I am sure he would admit himself he was not physically in the best place to help.

Do we think Sterling or Pulisic bleed Chelsea blue? No. Do we think they want to play wkmgback? No. Should that stop them at least putting in 100% commitment. No. Did they? No.

Is Kova carrying a knee injury and being overplayed? Yes. So can he give 100%? No.

Is RLC capable of giving 100%. I don't think so.

Etc etc.

Gallagher likely wants everyone to give their all and want it as badly as he does. I don't think anyone has questioned his commitment.

Thus group is rotten though, we know that and the new owners only have made it worse so far with who they have signed. Sterling being the worst of it.

Obviously Chelsea fans are widely known to be some of the most impatient

This is a load of rubbish, Tuchel had about 90% support on our forum poll before he was sacked.

Lampard had similar support.

The only permanent manage i can remember our fans being vocal against was Sarri.

We just got hammered away to Brighton, you are bound to see a lot of frustration with Potters performances on the back of a thrashing.

I actually wonder if a couple of players have already looking more to the World Cup.

Unless you are Rory Jennings, fairly certain every Chelsea fan wanted to give Tuchel enough time to turn it around. Maybe before the WC.

It was evident though the f**king gutless w**kers we have as players had zero confidence in him after the USA tour.

Yup, that is the culture we had been left with, and our owners have only added to since. Get rid of Lukaku, sign Sterling. Silva needs cover to allow him games off, sign 2 injury prone CBs. Etc

Shocking some fans wanted Chalobah go out on loan as they feared he wouldn't get game time...

It’s an odd thing to say publicly, I’m more intrigued how or why he came to that conclusion.

Yeah I think the majority of Chelsea fans backed keeping tuchel til December, but also backed Boehly making the call.

We just lack a spine at the moment. Players that will win us games week in week out.

I've got no doubt that our new regime will bring these players in. This season is yet another free hit for me, I've no doubt we will still slither to 4th though because I don't see 4 teams better than us this season. We might even make a run of it in the CL.

Finished with football for a bit, so pissed off with the club i've loved and followed for well over 50yrs. To watch the sh*t football we play along with the couldn't give a f**k attitude from the players, i'm going to go and watch my local team Slough, funnily enough where one of our players who seems to give a toss comes from.

The players we've bought over the past few years have been a total f**king disaster. How the f**k we are where we are has been a miracle.

Totally f**ked off.

This is why I watch the women’s team now.

If we win against Arsenal it will be a huge statement as we have been losing to them too much in the recent times. Very important matches up ahead.

It's possible we can beat them since we do well against teams that play open, but it won't mean much and will only paper over the cracks. Win or lose this still team needs a lot of work if we ever want to compete again.

Man I am really sorry to spread so much negativity on this board but Potter‘s interviews and press conferences are as dull as his football has been so far. Almost fall asleep every time listening to his phrases. Compare that to Tuchel or Conte.

This is the first manager I've not actually bothered watching any press conferences from. I just feel so apathetic towards Chelsea at the moment.

Amazing

We've gone from gushing mid week praise to the complete opposite within a few days.

Potter has come into our club after we bought players for TT then sacked him ,he needs a bit more than a few games to alter our style of play , even if our current players prefer walking football instead of working hard .

if anyone needs proof  of Potter's capabilities, just look at that Brighton team yesterday. We were beaten , thrashed, by Potter's creation

I've never judged a coach by press interviews,  or maybe we should employ coaches on the basis of how riveting and exciting they are in front of the media ?

If you judge him by the performances on the pitch the verdict is still dull and sh*t

Boehly sacked one of the best managers in the world for a complete fraud whose only glow-up has been that he finally had an appointment at the hairdresser‘s

Fraud ?

His Brighton team just thrashed us. ...do you remember the results under TT this season ?

Mostly the frustration comes from the fact that Potter doesn't seem to create a style or realise that playing players out of position is harming our team and their form.

That is the problem, doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes. Playing same out form players, setting up the team and formation disastrously prior to the game is costing him, and us.
