Obligatory new manager

Who do you want as the next Chelsea manager?

Personally I think Pochettino would actually be an excellent choice once people got over the Spurs history. We'd play high tempo, pressing football. Out run our opponents pretty much every week. Always work hard.
The problem is when he took over Spurs he basically threw out half the squad (some of them recently bought) and started again to get that right team environment and workrate. I don't know he'd have the patience/time at Chelsea to do that. But I do think if he had it, he's the type that would get us playing like Liverpool.

Anyone choosing Poch needs to give their head a wobble.

Yes but he's a serial choker. He transformed Tottenham from guaranteed also-rans into slightly less embarrassing also-rans.

Ange Postecoglou for me. If not then Potter I suppose although the history of step up managers in the premier league isn’t that good. Hard to get control of the dressing room without the reputation.

Potter would be a bold move. Could be a remarkable success, or resemble what Moyes did at Man United. Let's hope for the former if he's appointed which I expect now.

Pochettino is a safe option, but feels like a sideways move from Tuchel.

Rodgers 🤮

Zidane was a great man manager, but never got the impression he was a great tactician.

Love Ange. I think Brighton is a possibility for him if Potter joins us.

Zidane for me, although probably zero chance of getting him. We need a high profile manager with the aura of a serial CL winner as a manager and player, and there's nobody else

Zero tactics when he was at Madrid, just vibes and an unbelievable team he inherited. Don't think he'd do anything of note at Chelsea.

Cmon SC, it's Spurs. You could give them peak Fergie and they would still find a way to not win a trophy.

Also forgive me for my blasphemy, but I'd actually take Brenda over Potter (neither would be my preference). Brenda has at least won a trophy and he has managed some big names (Suarez, Gerrard, Coutinho etc.) so you know he could handle our dressing room.

Brendan Rogers is 5'7, no man of that stature is getting respect in a changing room imo.

Emma has built an empire over long term, I would prefer her to stay where she is. She wouldn’t get the respect from the mens team and couldn’t handle her getting the boot when she doesn’t. It was hard enough with Frank!

I think we know who the next boss will be but I would’ve preferred Zidane by far! I think we are taking a big step back compared to any manager of recent years bar AVB and Avram.

I'm sure he has a assistant to sort out the tactics for me. If Boehly is serious about throw money in, get the most high profile manager and buy the best player his stats guy tells him.  I don't think he will come to us, but hell we sacked a CL winning manager, and now we settle for an upcoming good manager fighting in mid table? Not being disrespectful for our likely next manager, but everything he has achieved so far, Tuchel has done it as will before he took the PSG and Chelsea job.

I'm not trying to be sensible here, after all the last 24 hours have not made any sense 😁

We said the same about Lamps that his assistant can sort tactics out though, that Madrid team was simply an anomaly with the talents they accumulated at one time. I think Zidane deep down knows this and that's why he isn't jumping into another job.

I voted for Potter, because I think of the named Managers in this poll, he is by far the most interesting profilewise and the other 3 have clear red flags imo, plus he will be our new manager so I don't want to jinx him via voting for another option.

Bob Paisley.
