Not at all factual.  Let's at least acknowledge there were some, in the minority maybe, that wanted it to fail because they were of the opinion he wasn't worth that amount of money and main reason was that one good season shouldn't be the yardstick to measure.

In fact they were pleased when initially announced Liverpool had stolen a march, as they saw Liverpool as saving us from a costly piece of business.

Thought he actually played well at the weekend. His passing is very underrated.

His passing is pretty good to be fair, otherwise he's done what's to be expected of a DM. 

I thought he looked the bollox actually last night.

I'm well on the way. He has us breaking the lines, something we haven't done in a year.

Him ignoring Enzo for the short pass to play in long to Colwill in space to set up Mudryk's goal was the standout. So much confidence in his ball playing ability.

His flick pass round a full back our winger tight in the left wing was technically the best last night, barely any space to play it.

The way him and Enzo were playing off of each other, little round the corners, nutmegs on the opposition, working their way out into wider spaces and then driving us forward. Completely different team with a bit of confideance.

I know people are saying that Fulham were woeful, but we have struggled all season and most of the teams we have played against have played worse than us, but have been able to finish.

I was against the price we paid but if we have him for 10 years plans he reaches his potential he will be seen as bargain

Was a bit silly but honestly felt the ref was being harsh considering there was another ball right there to be used. I'd imagine Poch will have a talk with him though

A very good player who had his summer disrupted with the transfer saga and a lack of a pre-season.

Critics, other fans and the media will always bring up the price tag but I'm not bothered about that, all I care is that he plays well for us, and he is at the moment.

Delighted for him. Gaining fitness, form and confidence. He can play, and is settling in nicely now.

He looked like very nervous in his first game, it's easy to forget he's still just a kid, the massive fee and attention could easily have unnerved him. The criticism he took was way over the top.

I agree, in this day and age where mental health is such an issue the way certain sections of the media went after a 21 year old at times was unnecessary.

I think the criticism on Caicedo was completely OTT, huge fee I get it, but not everybody can hit the ground running. 

Lately he's been showing his class, been an absolute unit in the midfield and his passing has been superb. Him and Enzo in the pivot is just too good.
