Did Chukameku do much?

Came on late - only had 2 touches.  Carried the ball well through the midfield on his 1st, got fouled on his 2nd.  Celebrated the goal well with Broja.  Looks strong and has some pace.

Great win with 6 academy players getting on the pitch today

We’ve probably produced more players playing at the top level during the last few years than United in the 90s, many now playing for us. Making them winners is the next stage.

Nice way to wrap up the week. Brave team selection, and those got picked all stepped up. I like the intensity, Mount and Gallagher worked their socks off and done great jobs winning possession high up the field. We looked a lot more decisive in the final third, and players are willing to take chances at the defence, all the sudden we looked a good team. Defensively we still looked a bit open without 3 central defenders, but the gamble worked against a team short of confidence and ability in front of goal, and Kepa did make a couple of decent saves. Nice to see Costa, he got far better services from the Chelsea fans than his mates. Who knows, if Conte didn't text with his fat fingers, Costa would have stayed, we could have won a couple of more trophies.

Koulibaly looked better today though for sure the opposition not much.

RLC did not play  badly and the team scored three goals without stirling and auba.

Although you can't say Pulisic had a great game his finish was of premier league standard.

In general the team played with energy and intent and to my way of thinking they look like they are enjoying the game and us spectators can enjoy watching it a bit more as well. We now have a positive goal difference in the league. Happy days.

Impressive performance. Two B2B 3-0 victories and good to see many of the academy boys integrated once again. 6 in total once again. Nice to see Chucky get a run out too. There was a lot of surprise when he went to us due to people saying he went for money and because apparently a graveyard for young talent even though we have been developing and giving young players chances for a while now. I thought Mount had a very good game. 2 wonderful assists which will give him a huge boost in confidence. Seems to have gone under the radar but I thought Chalobah was excellent yesterday. Bossed that game and looked very comfortable. Glad for Pulisic too. Wonderful finish.

When we lose, the usual 'we miss Kante was brought back' but all we need is an identity for the team. These home games I have always said we can take it to the opposition and boss the game and good to see we have won the lost 2 comfortably without him. RLC is getting better and better too. I use to sigh when I saw him on the team but he has a renewed sense of energy and is dominating games. Interesting that Potter has followed Tuchel in playing him so he obviously is impressing the managers on and off the field.

Big game on Tuesday to focus on now and some key players got a rest who will be in the team against Milan.

'I've never had a problem with the fans,' he told reporters after the game.

'My problem was not with the crowd, it was with that coach. I left in bad terms with that manager, I left a champion for the second time, and he didn't count on me.

'That was nothing I could do. I had to leave. Today showed that I did not leave on bad terms with the fans.

'It's very special. It's the feeling that in the time that you spent here, you did good work and left good memories.

'Chelsea fans always treated me very well. I was always surprised by the way they treated me. It's satisfying.'

Ffs!! 🤮

Posted in another thread about him thinking he’s the man sitting with Todd, when he doesn’t even support the club.

I cannot stand Corden and have no idea why he’s been such a hit in the US. I’d happily keep a straight swap for him and Pulisic!

Nope. We miss Kante is usually brought back when our opp can just run through our midfield like butter.

Is this a joke? Have you seen the people we, as Americans, find entertaining?

The fact a 16 year old girl can get famous and become a millionaire for making a 6 second dancing video on Vine has me lose all hope for this next generation.

Us old folk never appreciate what the younger generation sees as entertainment. Vive la difference. Ask yourself rather, of all the 6 second videos why is that one famous?

Well was half watching the game on one hand and a paint brush in the other.  Looks like Potter has the team motivated and good energy shown from the start.  A few hairy moments here and there but otherwise in complete control.  Still think we are light in the middle of the park and that should be looked at in January.  Good momentum as meet ACMilan for the away leg...no doubt they will put out a stronger side than last week.

Heading to the UK next week for 10 days, catch up with my Mum (nearly 93yrs young) she's not that great but a tough old bird. Evacuated during WW2 from London to Devon.  Chelsea were playing all away games but now that Utd game is on the 22nd, I'll be ticket hunting and calling in a few old friends who are Blues fans, a couple tied to the club. It will be my last day before flying back to the Great White North so I might get lucky.  Will be going to Reading v WBA as the BIL has ticket for the 15th...anyway onwards and upwards to the Potter era.

Vine? You must mean TikTok Grandad 😆

Very solid performance, and good to see us backup from the good work we produced against AC Milan.

The crowd reception towards Diego Costa was excellent. The man deserved to be shown adulation and appreciation.

Look at the Corden thread on the man united forum 😊
