August 16, 20241 yr “🚨Felix Situation. Atletico want him gone, he does want to leave. He was offered to Chelsea rather then Chelsea making an initial offer, which is why Chelsea think Atletico would be flexible with the pricing, however they r sticking to there guns for a strong fee. Villa want Him and have made this clear, and Spurs have enquired. Plan is for Felix To Leave. Not Seen as a priority signing at Chelsea, but rather an opportunity, many at the club were fond of him at his last spell. Chelsea are still too far off the Atletico valuation. Still a considerable gap in valuations, but negotiations not over. Felix would have already been a Chelsea Player if it wasn’t for Pochettino.” Looks like we’re struggling to agree a deal. £60m would be way too much. But where does this leave Conor?
August 16, 20241 yr Lazy Jadon Sancho rumours doing the rounds this morning. Maybe to pressure Athletico into dropped their price for Felix? It would be terrible if we ended up with Sancho on his massive wages... can't see how we'd be that dumb though. Edited August 16, 20241 yr by Hessleboink

AM have made it clear they still want Connor. But yeah pass on 60mil, it's too much and just smells of a "last week transfer battle" unless they drop the price.

That's Osimhens wages for the length of a 5-6 contract on a player we don't need.

I have never heard of an agent moving 2 players for the same position before talk less of in the same window. Jorge Mendes is the only winner here as he gets to bank around 10% each on the Neto & Felix deal. 4 hours ago, JM7 said: “🚨Felix Situation. Atletico want him gone, he does want to leave. We paid a £10m loan fee and paid him between £5m-£6m for half a season, for a return of 4 goals in 16 games. On what planet was that a good deal?

August 16, 20241 yr If he signs has to mean several need to go, unfortunately the likes of Carney and Noni probably as we know Palmer, Nkunku, Felix and Neto (as new signings) are set in stone and Mudryk and Sterling and unsellable

Jorge Mendes is fabricating “interest” through the media regarding other clubs being linked, the Villa/Spurs link is bullsh*t, we’re in a buyers market of 1, Chelsea and nobody. 😅 embarrassing, all for that sweet sweet profit on Gallagher.
August 17, 20241 yr A strange signing for sure. Maresca seems to be wanting to put a system in which there are only three attacking players, two wide wingers and a striker. I'm struggling to see how he fits in Neto, Palmer, Nkunku and Osimhen (I'm expecting that to happen) into that, let alone Jackson, Guiu, Mudryk, Madueke, Sterling, Chukwuemeka and Dewsbury-Hall. And now we're adding Felix on top of all that lot ? Bonkers ... could be 12 players for 3 slots in the team (4 if he plays one of them in midfield, but if he does that then one of Lavia or Caicedo won't play, as Enzo seems to have the role of Mr Golden bo**ocks Untouchable for this year) Still think our squad is optimal for 4-2-3-1 rather than this 4-3-3 that Maresca seems determined to shoehorn us into, seemingly with several square pegs in round holes.
August 17, 20241 yr Whatever happens let get Joao... I will love his combination with with the quality of attackers we have now

After standing around looking important for 60 minutes Felix final gets the ball and produces a lovey looking flick to nobody. The ball falls kindly to Jackson who get his feet tangled and trips over the ball knocking the ball into the path of Mudryk who run at a tremendous pace straight into the opponents defender. The ball then ricochets kindly to Sterling who runs into the exact same defender this time the ball loops over the defence and Neto connects with a beautiful volley right into the back of the net followed by his leg which fell off in the process. Wild celebrations at Stamford bridge as Neto is stretchered off the pitch. An Incredible goal the kind only a billion pounds could make! Clearlake’s vision of total football is complete. In fairness that would be an improvement on Mudryk and Sterling's contributions last season

We truly have lost the plot, although I suspect its more about padding the stats when its time to sell the player.
August 17, 20241 yr I actually liked the lad and was hoping we would sign him, but I can't lie, he's not exactly proved any of the doubters wrong since then has he? He's still only 24 though but a strange signing considering the options we have in attacking midfield. Sadly this only tells me someone else is going and it won't be Mudryk or Sterling...

August 17, 20241 yr Félix is a terrible footballer and if anybody in our leadership structure thinks this is a good idea they should be sacked immediately. Gallagher our and Félix in? Are you f**king kidding me? We're in the unique position to know exactly what both players offer... f**k BlueCo, f**k them hard in the harris.
