The worst record of any Chelsea manager this century by a mile, is it time to go?

Id be more interested if there was a 3rd option that said "sack him in the summer"

It was time to go 5 months ago.

At this point I think anyone who's Potter in is a WUM or a plastic that is more interested in virtue signalling how they back tbe manager or don't care how bad the results get rather than actually being a Chelsea supporter and wanting what's best for the club.

It's not just that Potter has the worst results and lowest goals per game out of any manager in Chelsea history.

No one can actually point to a single player that's improved under him or a single promising sign every argument for Potter staying just ignores the job he's actually doing and bizarrely imagines if given enough time he'll suddenly do a complete 180.

Yes - praise the all important third poll!

I wanted to give him time and see if he could turn things around but enough is f**king enough. As soon as I saw the starting 11 today, it was clear this guy hasn't a clue of what it takes to win a London derby against our big rivals. And that and the back of the sh*t show against Southampton. He's a nice bloke but that's about all you can say. Potter teams just don't score - how can you win football matches when you never look like scoring a goal? We had sh*t teamns and average players in the past but would always create chances and score a few. Sorry, he HAs to go.....................NOW.

It's now evident that the longer he stays the more damage he is causing.

It's no coincidence new signings in Enzo, Mudryk, Felix, etc are all now regressing after promising starts. Individual brilliance can only go so far when there is zero direction and no foundation. Potter is well and truly out of his element here and he needs to go. Tonight.

Interim until the rest of the season. Work on finding a permanent replacement in the meantime.

Pretty much my thoughts to a tee. Wanted to give him time but it's becoming increasingly obvious that time won't change anything.

There's £600m worth of talent in this team, and we should be doing a lot better on that basis alone.

Unfortunately I think Boehly is digging his heels in and doesn't want to publicly admit he got it wrong.

In an ideal world we get an interim between now and the end of the season and spend now until May identifying and appointing the next man.

I think we all bought into this "look at Arteta at Arsenal" thing. I admit, I hate the constant conveyor belt of hiring and firing managers and always want a manager to be given time. But we sacked a top quality coach in Tuchel for a guy totally out of his depth. We all need to wake up and stop thinking Potter is going to turn this around and do what Arteta has done as it ain't gonna happen, whereas relegation could be a distinct possibility if we keep him any longer.

The bottom three Everton, Bournemouth and Southampton are the only clubs with worst form over last 15 games 12 points out of 45. Lowest scorers in the league in those 15 games too.

What exactly do the owners see that we aren't?

I've said no, for no other reason than who or what is the alternative.

Anyone. Literally anyone. Doesn't have to be for long-term, just for now.

It's like when Mendy came in for Kepa. He wasn't world class, but he was a comptent goalkeeper so it made a world of difference and provided the back line with a lot more confidence.

All we need right now is someone competent before the players lose all will and fight, which is arguably happening already.

Potter just lost two matches on the bounce against sides that are currently managed by coaches who don't even have their UEFA coaching licenses.

Interm until the rest of the season. Be it a short term appointment or someone plucked from the academy coaching staff.

I’m reluctant to say it, but I don’t think we have any choice now.

There’s simply nothing to hold onto to keep the faith. The Southampton match felt like a major tipping point, but today was the icing on the cake.

2 wins in 16 PL games. 2 wins in 15 in all competitions. 1 win in 11. That’s not even acceptable in the Bates era let alone in the Abramovich era.

I certainly wouldn't disagree with you on any of that, and I think it's probably an inevitability that he will go.

It's a fair shout Sconnie, i just think we made a balls of sacking Tuchel and rushing in. where would it leave us now.

It looks to me that Leeds could genuinely be the tipping point.

The thing that stats don't take it account is the attritional loss of confidence.  It acts as a reset for every game.

If we lose to Leeds, new manager bounce Leeds, I can only see us beating maybe Everton, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest.  Losing creates a losing habit. You can tell these players have absolutely no confidence whatsoever.

If he gets this wrong next week and he could easily, its going to get very dark for a while.
