I've backed, and still back, Potter but he got his changes wrong today. All three of them but especially the first one. We lost control of the game immediately after that first change 

 

There were good signs today but that just how thinga go i guess. I don't put blame on Conor or other Subs bc Potter got it wrong tactically. Mhm still 10th at least.... 

He’s so boring. I’d give JT the job till the end of the season.

Honestly tired of his tinkering. It feels like he just wants to keep everyone happy by rotating rather than focusing on a set spine to build on.

This is all on Potter. Doesn't learn. Still does the same stupid subs like he did against Leeds, where only fortune saved us. It was a poor performance. That is what happens when you play too defensive. 3-5-2 tactic is just too negative and not a formation we should be playing against a team in the blood relegation. Mudryk was unleashed last week. His reward today, put on the bench and not even come on. Absolutely bizarre tactics. Boring football once again. We should be making lightwork of this team. It proves to me that the last three wins was just a mere false hope. Pathetic.

Unconvincing. Subs questionable. Sticking with Potter is just a waste of time. It's like assembling one of the best Formula One cars and having tractor driver racing it.

If we had a decent keeper we don't concede that 2nd goal.

Anyone would think Everton won the game given the way sky have covered it.

While I share the disappointment and don’t disagree with the criticism being levelled at Potter, I still think the overall trend is ⬆️, with or without Potter. Trying to look at things as coldly as I can, if this is on Potter (and I agree it probably is), is that a bad thing? we’re improving despite today’s result, I think. If that improvement is despite, rather than because of Potter, the implications are pretty good. It would be much worse, and much harder to solve, if the players were all duds.

I can’t put into words enough how important in-game management is against a side like Real Madrid, don’t give me that against all odds bollocks.

Bang on. Worse still cos there was nothing wrong with Fofana. He had shaken off the cramp and was fine. If he needed to solidify the defence then bring on Kante and go with a double six to see out the game.
