Excellent article in The Times today talking about how the idea of bringing in a caretaker manager was first discussed by the board after the car crash of a performance on the pitch at Spurs five weeks ago. Seems like Potter’s time was as good as up then. I remember leaving the ground early that day and walking back down the Tottenham High Rd totally embarrassed over what I had just witnessed. One of the worst CFC performances for many many years. I was surprised to see Potter survive even then.

Potentially Madueke/Mudryk for Gallagher and Mount back in midfield. Ideally we’d rest at least James and Chilwell for Real, but to create any sort of tactical familiarity we have to go with the same team/formation here as we will against them. Which, obviously, is the only reason KK gets in instead of Badiashile

 

The season is dead but I'm actually excited about today's match for the first time in a long time due to the Lampard factor.

Whoever Frank selects they will have to up their game.  Just hope he doesn't drop Felix and replaces him with Mount; while Mount may bounce back in the side its a case of where he now fits him in.   Should be a comfortable win today if we turn up and hopefully start us on the road to recovery after the car crash of a season.

I hope we get the bounce,  today, but we'll see. If this same lot of players magically turn it on, I'll be surprised.
