Every time I hear Frank give a post-match interview I'm struck by the anodyne cliches he always comes out with.  He's just so uninspiring.  When he arrived at the club 10 game ago, he said he had a few ideas about how to turn things around.  Eight defeats later, he seems to have as much grip on reality as Boris Johnson.  Frank is a rich man and he manages a team of multi-millionaires who earn more in a week then some supporters will earn in a lifetime.  None of them neither know nor care about the pain they cause to loyal fans like us by their disgraceful performances this season.  I'm seething with anger after last night's game.  We are witnessing the disintegration of our once-great club before our very eyes.  It's hard to over estimate the mess we're in.  God help us on Sunday.  Lap of honour?  Don't even think about it.

It is not a suprise and it is not funny.

But this is good as long as we create chances the goal will eventually catch up with the xG 🤣🤣🤣

A strange thing that I find, was when talking about Mount - as if he has zero idea about what is happening or in Mounts mind.

vague talk about “players today” thinking differently.

As a manager; it is his job to be understanding the players, and having conversations with them. Yes, I get that Lamps isn’t the one negotiating a contract,  but he should know what is happening and what Mount wants.

Not that I expected anything better under Lampard, but he has been a miserable appointment, hasn't he? Really happy we sacked him when we did, he's miles away from PL level.

No offense but some of the comment towards lamp in this thread really piss me off and it make me wonder whether this is a Chelsea forum or not.

You want to criticize lamp, criticize him properly. Not some bullsh*t,lamp doesn't understand tactic when player does not track run. Or lamp is clearly clueless. why do we keep losing? I  don't want to play back 5, I want us to play with two wingers?

Thanks Frank. I'm sorry we aged you ten years. I hope you outlive the cynical c**ts who appointed you. I'll be right there with you to raise a glass when the day comes.

The dopey British press will bray otherwise, but do believe that you are actually good at what you do.

'The standards collectively have dropped. I can be honest about that now that it's my last game, I might not see some of them that much any more,' he said.

'The standards of the collective for a club like Chelsea have to be at the maximum or you won't be physically competitive enough, or you won't be able to play at the highest level.

'If you're not together in the dressing room, and you're not vocal in the dressing room, driving each other and competitive because I want your place and you want mine. Any top team has to have that.

'When I came in very quickly I could see that wasn't there enough. Of course a very good manager will help that, but everyone has to take responsibility, players and club alike.'

I'm a big fan of Pochettino as a manager, I think he's a very good manager,' he said.

'But it's not about which individual it might be, it's about getting the right high level of manager.

'Pochettino's history tells you he works at clubs of this sort of level and then letting him get to work with the players, he creates a solid identity in a team that can win some games.

'Those things aren't always overnight things, so we have to be careful with expectations a little bit.

'There's a lot of work to be done. That's my synopsis after six weeks, the basics that I keep talking about - standards are so relevant to this club at the minute.'

'When you're Chelsea and you have a season like we've had there are obviously lottos things to improve,' he said.

'The next manager will need a pre-season. We're not physically competitive enough, that's a strong opinion I have.

'The new manager can get the squad into the place he needs it to be - the squad has been too big and that has been the biggest challenge, coming in to work with players who for whatever reason are disillusioned.

'Those situations can be sorted out now and they need to be.

'Some of the players have been mindful of [uncertainty over their future at the club] for a while and that's part of the problem.

'It's hard to compete in this league if the players are in that middle ground - whether the club want them to leave or they want to leave, we can get to the bottom of it.

'The dressing room was pretty quiet [after Sunday's game] and it's been a quiet dressing room since I got here. The players are probably sort of happy to take a break.

'They have to take responsibility for this season but it's up to them to go and show the pride and dedication it needed to be a Chelsea player.'

The bloke is a class act, even if the temporary coaching appointment was disastrous from start to finish.

I can only wish him well for the future. At least the fans got an opportunity to say a proper farewell to him, something that was denied when he finished playing with us in 2014 and when he departed as coach in January 2021.
