I disagree with that one, I think he's very raw don't get me wrong but I think he looks like a very promising player, we just need a manager like Pochettino to iron out the flaws and give him some confidence.

I just don't see it. Reminds me a little of Kezman. Just runs into defenders as if he is playing with his eyes shut.

Thank f**k for that I’d forgotten what a win felt like

You’re not alone in feeling that. We hadn’t a won a match since March 11 before today.

Agreed. He had zilch service. Madueke had service.

Madueke had service, but it was a lot more than that. Madueke was skipping past players with ease, using clever bits of skill to get out of tight spots. Mudryk was sloppy on the ball, couldn't do anything in 1v1 situations and just looked really out of it. He can't really on service, sometimes he is going to have to do things himself. If he doesn't, then it will be another Werner situation. Werner was so reliant on balls played between the lines behind the defence to run on to, but that is very hard to pull off in this league.

Winnig a game feels a bit surreal! Scoring 3 goals even more so!!  Getting a long term injury with one of our 'better' players - a bit more of a 'familiar' feeling!

I'm right in thinking that Boehly brought in his own 'fitness/medical' team aren't I?  Whoever they are they are probably doing the worst job in the history of association football, can't we plead with the old medical team and beg them to come back?  I quite like the idea of Carneiro coming back.

Didn't see game but Bournemouth fan on phone in reckons ref and VAR decisions favoured Chelsea.  That, and a win makes a nice change.

Were we any good ?

Patchy is how I would rate that performance. Some decent moments here and there, some moments where we looked poor (especially when transitioning from attack to defense) The odd thing was that the winning goals came at a time where I thought we were playing at our worst. The subs killed momentum and Bournemouth had a great chance to score not long before Badiashile's goal.
