Seems to be really up for it, loads of skills and confidence, no way should we be thinking about loaning this lad out anywhere.

I saw some glimpses yesterday and hard not to be excited he looks so good reminds me of early Robben though he may be better.

He looks better than CR7 when he first came to Utd & he’s the greatest player ever to grace this league.

If the mentality is there then the skies the limit.

IIRC Neymar made a similar positive impression his first few weeks yet he was 3-4 years older.

He looks quality. Just a player that makes things happen and backs it up with end product. Exciting times

I really hope Maresca doesn’t coach the excitement out of him!!!

I actually think Estevao can surpass the impact Eden Hazard had in his first year here.

We need to do everything we can to tie him down, I know we only just signed him but bloody hell we have a ballon dor winner on our hands.

He's seen Chelsea and United in their worst times, City had a meltdown as well, Liverpool went through a managerial change and he still could not win anything of importance. Give Maresca the credit he deserves, for me Flick and Maresca have the two most difficult jobs in world football at the moment and they are doing a top job. People still do not realize that having such young squads while having to also stay competitive is ten times harder than managing a normal squad that has a mix of experience, young players and some in their prime.

If managing a young squad like ours is " ten times" harder than managing a "normal squad ", why have we decided to put our club , our manager, our players, our team, at such a disadvantage then ?

Arteta.

See it more as a challenge, not a disadvantage. It's the path the owners took and it finally pays off. We as fans have nothing else to do, but support the club/project. Can't tell me you are not excited of what is about to come in the next seasons.

Will see what Garnacho and Simons have to say about it, however our front 3 behind the striker should mostly be Neto, Palmer and estevao imo.

Gittens looks as far behind them as Jackson is from Isak.

I ALWAYS support the club. So, that's it then.. their project has finally " paid off " ? I was hoping for more to to honest .

Slow down buddy lol.

Hazard was different gravy vs Wigan. Generational talent that i doubt this club will ever see again.

He, and his tandem work with Cole, will be key for us to break down low blocks and stubborn defences.

You really underestimate Hazard talent. Hazard was an all timer level talent. We are talking about the best player in PL history level talent.

Definitely, one of the few players that can train with boots not laced, gives 50% effort in training and still be the best player in 90% of games

Then you were wrong in thinking that because of their "names", they would instantly challenge for the big trophies. All in the squad were bought as "projects" for the future, players with a very high ceiling. This takes a whole lot of time.

Surround Palmer, Caicedo and Colwill with Salah, Van Dijk and Liverpool's settled team and I agree their development time would instantly be shortened by a couple of years. But when you put so many young players together, oldest ones being 26 and 27, of course things will take time. It is perfectly normal. It "pays off" now because we are finally starting to see things moving in the right direction.

My guess is that in 10 years and if projections are accurate and the club is at the level that the board wanted since day one, people will still find ways to discredit the initial plan and think that the board were clueless in the first years and somehow got lucky. When the truth is and you can see it at the moment, there is a clear plan that they held on to no matter what and that plan gathers pace. I believe the only thing that this board did not plan to be in this way is the (too) many managerial changes, but even that proved to be successful in the end as Maresca looks the perfect man for the job. Other than that, what currently happens at the club was meticulously planned, even before they even started negociations with Roman, I have no doubts about it. They had this plan prepared long before for any club they would have aquired.
