I hope he plays on Friday and Sunday, will be good to see him stretch his legs in a Chelsea shirt. I'm missing the league games against Palace and Fulham so this week will be my only opportunity to see him play until the end of September

We're talking bigger than that, he might just become the second CFC Uefa player of the year in our history in due time, he's the Brazilian Messi if that's even allowed to be.

I really do hope the lad does well and lives up to your expectations.

But I suspect Cole Palmer will remain our main man for some time. Now he IS a Generational Talent.

I think you are right.

I believe in England players can sign a scholarship contract at 16 which is in effect an apprenticeship because there is a requirement to be in either full time education or an apprenticeship until the age of 19.

I guess it depends on what is meant by "signing". The actual tweet referred to him as "future signing". At the least, it seems he's switched from Man City's academy to ours, but I'd assume he's not contracted to the club yet. I saw this six year deal mentioned by Grok also on some news sites, but there's no info on what "deal" means in this case.

Who the hell is this McGillsomething?

His dad was an absolute beast of a Rugby League player, was a winger but was well put together. Nice bloke too.

The ideal is we find a couple more to take the load off his shoulders.

just as teams knew they had to deal with Drogba if they put all their efforts on him lampard would punish them, and vice versa.

If an estevao, or a Reggie Walsh, or whoever else can make that step up then it becomes a lot more difficult to deal with us.

UNBELIEVABLE PLAYER and only 18!!!! WHAT A START already!! We have a star and I am soooooooo damn happy!!!! 🌟 🌟 🇧🇷 🌟 🌟

Just seen his interview with Chelsea media, what a really likeable kid.

ffs it’s going to be Hazard all over again isn’t it. Lovable bloke, Best in the League and then he’ll leave us for La Liga

Well they'll need to pay 200m for the privilege

I was initially skeptical over the hype, having not properly seen him play, but he definitely seems like he really could be the kind of special player that makes you want to watch football. Like, Zola, Hazard, Palmer, and now possibly Estevao. Him and Palmer in the same team could be special, they already seem to have a good understanding.
