Happy for Sunderland even if next season will be a nightmare. Young squad, some very promising talent. Promotion too soon for their own good but that's the system. Fans deserves a break after the appalling ownership omnishambles over the years as documented in the brilliant documentary Sunderland Till I Die. More skill, more energy, more desire than Sheffield, doomed to another season of despair under their extremely unlikeable manager.

How embarrassing it that the Arsenal women beat Barcelona woman are we got slaughtered

While we did get battered by them Arsenal played them in a one off match where anything can happen on the day.

Arsenal played well TBF but everything went their way.

Playing Barcelona over 2 matches is different.

It’s a funny one with Wilder because despite him being a bit of a w**ker, he is quite simply the quintessential archetypal football bloke, walk through most English pubs around the UK, and there’s clones of him everywhere. It’s like the non-sheff Utd fans over a certain age and demographic are just hating themselves.

Sheffield is a big football city, so from a cultural point of view, it means more to have a Sheffield club in the Prem than it does to have the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth and co in there, but that’s the game. They had a really good go at it before Covid, where there was even talk about potential European finishes. Unlucky club, maybe Sheff Wednesday can do something next.

Wasn’t it Villa that was saved by a goal that should’ve stood which would’ve relegated them?

v Sheffield United. Goal line technology failed.

I hadn't realised Viktor Gyokeres (39 goals) was so far clear in the goal scoring charts in Portugal. You can say "weak league", but he has more than doubled the next highest scorers (19 goals). Impressive, and a bit unlucky not to win the European Golden Shoe ahead of Mbappé (31 goals) thanks to some algorithms that favour the Big 5 leagues.

With Champions League now secured he should be our top priority at all costs.

He's got physique as well, which the likes of Ekitike just doesn't have. We have to go all in for this bloke

Awful news from Liverpool, car driven into crowd. .

My thoughts are with the injured, no news of fatalities so far, hopefully there won't be any

The footage is fking horrendous. Families celebration day. Disgraceful

Have seen a video of the incident, Absolutely horrendous and on a day when people were celebrating. Hopefully no fatalities or serious injuries.

Seems very common with any public event where people are in the street. I would definitely think twice before going to something like that, myself.

Seems like there is more to this.

This is apparently before he smashed into people.

Saw some footage, when the vehicle comes to rest a guy is actually stuck under it. Dreadful.

I wonder how most Chelsea fans feel if the team finish 17th but win an Europa, certainly wouldnt do a parade 😄

It's been a crazy season, we got the 4th spot ( objective met), but maybe an opportunity lost. Considering City was in 'transition' and wont do it again anytime soon, and Arsenal fall off the cliff ( again) by April, we could have gone second if we had a proper front man ( again)
