I see where you're coming from, but I don't accept that one of the most attacking players in your team won't score you goals. I've always been somebody that believes that to be a successful team, you need players outside of one or two players that will score you goals. All of our most successful teams had goals spread across the squad. Our midfield won't get us goals, our defenders are nothing like goalscoring defenders we had in the 2000's and 2010's. So it's on the attackers to produce that for us. Outside of Palmer, and hopefully Nkunku if he can stay fit, we have wildly inconsistent players like Sterling, Madueke and Jackson. If Neto is going to start, and he will, he also needs to become more prolific in front of goal. 2 goals a season won't be enough, even if he is picking up a decent amount of assists. 

There's a reason nobody put a bid for him until now, everyone is aware of the risk and stays away from it, until you know who decided it's worth a punt. I mean if he stays fit and plays 25- 30 games, probably worth the investment, but that's a big IF based on his record. I guess those team doctors haven't got much to do this summer, so get someone in there.

I hope they don't jinx it, he remains fit, and he's really good on the LW (we need a lw more than a right winger).

Yeah the same people who were happy when we were spending a fortune on nobodies now have a problem.   Didnt give a sh*t about any of our other signings suddenly have in depth details on Netos goal scoring and injury records. Jealously brings out the worst

To be honest of I was a fan of one of the clubs with genuine top four aspirations I wouldn't be remotely worried about Chelsea

I really can't believe anyone else would be bothered àbout this transfer .

It's not as if we had to fight off other clubs to get this done ? And tbh lots of the comments about his injury prone seasons can be seen on here, from Chelsea fans
