Really curious how we further integrate him next year, and who makes way to do so. Would like to see him as 4th, or 5th choice CB, and 2/3rd choice RB. Maybe he'll get a loan for more playing time - see no reason why he won't go to the top.

A season long loan to a West Ham, Palace or one of the promoted teams where he will get solid minutes will transform him. He isn’t going to see much pitch team this season bar any injuries.

I prefer to keep him to be honest, George though I think needs to go to the championship if I'm honest, I don't think he's ready for the prem

How will he get game time though? He is 3rd choice RB behind James, Gusto & Caicedo, and 5th choice RCB behind Fofana, Tosin, Chalobah & now Sarr. A season long loan to a West Ham, Coventry or one of the relegated PL teams will be brilliant.

Agree on George but I don’t think it’s a physical issue; if Yamal could hack senior football at 15yr, and Saka who he is a doppelgänger of at 17yrs, there is no reason why he can’t hack it. His problem is a lack of momentum; if the manager persists with him and trusts him, he will figure it out on the pitch.

If this guy came through at Madrid, Barca, City, literally any top team academy he would be playing games already but over here there's fans suggesting a loan.

According to Maresca, James is a midfielder so don't need to worry about him at least 🤪

It’s why I’ve leaned into the camp of we don’t need a CB.

We’ve gotten rid of the liabilities in Disasi and Badiashile (well, demoted to 6th choice), and the CB’s we do have learned to get rid of the individual errors in their game. Bar a few lapses, they’ve been solid for months.

He should be starting more games than he is.

If he's not going to get the game time we should send him on loan, worked wonders for Colwill. He needs to be playing at this age.

Thought I'd bump this. Played well today. Couple of times probably wrong position but has plenty of recovery pace. If he continues to play he'll definitely have a few mistakes in him.. but thought he did alright - cant argue with a clean sheet.
