Regardless, quality finishes.
January 29Jan 29 Palmer and Jow! Pedro have a good understanding. They play well together. I have always liked JoW! as a no.9 - he is a goal scorer and can hit from outside the box too! He has that JFH quality imho. JFH vibes. I feel that the 3 lads behind JP should be more fluid - switching wings, etc. The rigidity of the Enzo Era was not helping our attacks.

There was evidence of this in the Club World Cup last year but they really haven't had many opportunities to play in the same team this year. Hopefully both can stay fit and in form.

If your st want to drop then somebody need to play as st as what Garnacho did in the 2nd goal.

January 31Jan 31 He is giving me confidence. He is also 5th in PL scoring charts with 9, behind Haaand, Thiago, Semenyho and Ekitike. We rarely have strikers in these charts, and considering zero penalty goals, this is promising.Beyond that, he is 7th in PL for assists with 4, and most for us.13 PL Goal involvements - could quite easily get to 20 with this form.Edit - he's also won 119 duels, 10 more than our second place dueler, Caicedo. Most through balls as well. Edited January 31Jan 31 by PhilH930
February 1Feb 1 Scoring goals again, running a bit more and even squaring up to Traore.Rosenior has worked wonders on this guy 😂
February 4Feb 4 Thought he played well against Arsenal last night. And they have top quality centre-backs. Edited February 4Feb 4 by just
February 4Feb 4 Showing a lot more effort since Maresca left, looks a proper handful up top. Needs some support though, he gets nothing from Delap and Enzo last night.

February 4Feb 4 Has been pretty fantastic sine Rosenior took over. Arguably our best player in this period.

Much better use of him than the clown who had him constantly coming deep, back to goal etc. Edited February 4Feb 4 by dkw
February 4Feb 4 Author Pedro and James are the only players with some grit and physicality. Caicedo and Fofana are too brash, Delap is an idiot and Cucurella is like a wild chihuahua, he'll either bite you or you'll kick the sh*t out of him before he gets the chance. So much physicality lacking from this team with, and we don't have the attacking talent in the wings to make up for it.
March 4Mar 4 Could we...have we....actually found ourselves our first top center forward since Giroud?
March 4Mar 4 13 goal contributions in 8 games for Joao Pedro. Positive stats I like to see from our players for once.
March 4Mar 4 Playing less like a number 10 and more like a number 9 and it’s paying off.In fantastic form.
March 4Mar 4 He's got everything. Wish the board would understand that this team has some players that are ready for big things (Joao Pedro, Palmer, Caicedo, James, Cucurella, Enzo), they just need that extra bit of quality and experience around them. A top center back pairing and a world class winger would totally transform this team.
March 4Mar 4 I'm glad we can finally put the number 10 debate to bed. He has always been a striker and with world class composure in the box like his it would be criminal to put him anywhere else.
