Maresca has no old school disciplinary/ fine system for players

when quizzed at a recent presser he compared the players to his own children whom he did not administer any form of discipline or punishment to just talked to them nicely about it!

that explains the attitude and behaviour of nearly all the players

Don’t understand the point of Tosin.. can’t head, can’t tackle can’t block can’t mark.. at a point where I think we should reintegrate disaster disasi.. he played the World Cup final for France is he really that bad..

He was a free transfer ex Man City academy, that Maresca once coached, thats the point

But neither of them are good enough and clearly receive no form of coaching whatsoever.

These disciplinary issues are a clear sign to me that this spineless twat of a manager has no authority whatsoever over these players

I thought the same. His influence on this one issue is conspicuous in its absence. It surely is indicative of his lack of influence elsewhere and I'm sick of it.

We got bullied in defence and conceded scrappy goals.. one was on Bunanatte being too complacent the other two really scrappy.. we are officially arsenal…. Also this squad has no real steel and height..

Now that is woke.

Just now, Dr. Socrates said:

Well if Maresca’s half-time team talk was to go out second half, concede three goals, look a shambles, and “Liam, elbow two players in the head, and get yourself sent off”, then everything went according to plan.

They'd been practicing it in training, which is why there was no sign of Trev tonight. Ruled out with concussion LOL

Spurs and Liverpool have gone out tonight, but it's hard to see us getting the better of Arsenal or City, should we come up against them at some point. Mind you, we said the same about the PSG game ...

Be surprised if we get past Cardiff tbh. Words like passion, intensity, commitment are completely alien to the cretin in charge. These characteristics do not exist in the textbook from Pep School so he will have no capacity to cope with the inevitable passion and aggression from the Welsh.

Just got back from the game, here’s my thoughts:

First half - brilliant. Controlled, dominated. A lot of Wolves fans left at half time and they were booed off.

Second half - Shambles. Just before the scored, they had a good chance. The signs were there. The control had gone and we were very sloppy. We were lucky to win that game.

Maresca needs to start managing the game over 90 minutes. We are constantly a 45 minute team and only ever show up for one half. It’s not good enough.

Oh, as a little bonus…I was sitting right above Winstanley and Stewart!

Good to see Santos, Estevao and Gittens score as this will increase confidence.

On Delap, I said he would be a red card risk as soon as I saw him play, he works hard yet is often late and leaves a mark on defenders.

Not the case today yet not clever play.
