There is bound to be an out clause of some description.

Its pretty much certain there is as thats how they got rid of the clown with no compensation payment.

Did they? Is there actual evidence of this?

JASON BURT

Liam Rosenior should carry on as Chelsea head coach even if the Blues fail to qualify for the Champions League according to journalist Jason Burt.

Chelsea reportedly told Rosenior Champions League qualification was critical when he arrived, and Burt feels the 41-year-old should remain in the job even if he misses out.

“They [Chelsea] have had these draws, they’ve dropped these points, and ultimately, he’ll be judged on whether they qualify for Champions League,” he told Sky Sports News as quoted on X.com.

“It will be fascinating if they don’t qualify, where that leaves him? I think it’d be incredibly harsh not to carry on with him, but this is a very ruthless ownership.

“They can’t really afford not to be in the Champions League, so it puts him in quite a difficult situation.

MATT LAW

Liam Rosenior told he must achieve Champions League qualification

Following that awful run in December, Chelsea dropped out of the top four. However, Rosenior has been told that he still needs to secure Champions League qualification, journalist Matt Law has revealed.

Speaking on the London Is Blue podcast, Law said: “I think the biggest challenge actually is, I’m going to really simplify it. The biggest challenge short term is actually just Champions League qualification, because I’ve been told, and I checked this on his appointment, you know, do goals change? Do expectations change?

“Does he get greater leeway because he’s come in? No, it was described to me that the Champions League qualification is absolutely critical. That’s the word that was used, critical. And that is not going to be easy. That would not be easy for any manager coming in now, or any manager in charge.”

So "reportedly". And Matt Law? Speculation rules. As ever.

If the owners really believe that Rosenior should get us top 4, they must delusionally think that it is a piece of cake to finish with a winning run of 6 or 7 games while other clubs tread water every season. Will be fascinating to see what they do should that not pan out and they show Rosenior the door. Presumably their strategy cannot be questioned, so they just move on to the next Strasbourg manager and all will be well...

Why is it that all we hear/read is Maresca or Rosenior “will be judged” but never the sporting directors and this sh*t f**k team they’ve assembled?

Because they're Eghbali's henchmen. Their position is more secure that Boehly's.

Almost certain he’s a goner. We will finish 6th if we’re lucky looking at the fixtures, and he’ll have a clause if we don’t get in CL.

Shambles from top to bottom

7TH at best

teams are closing in, i thought Bournemouth would get 6th but after yesterdays results, Brentford and Everton are closing in as well

lucky for us Everton play Arsenal, Chelsea, Brentford, Liverpool and City

Brentford might be the dark horses...Bournemouth, wolves, Leeds, Everton, Fulham, Man Utd, West ham, City, Palace, Liverpool

I'd be very surprised if Brentford, Everton or Bournemouth finish above us.

Put the lineup we all agreed with out.

Outside of an inability to defend set pieces and Sanchez reverting to type, not too much to criticise.

Just so many dogsh*t egomaniacs in this side.

Outside of Reece, Trev & Cole I don’t think any of them are even remotely likeable.

I couldn't give a f**k about Rosenior to be honest. The guy is part of this sh*tshow and is willing to go along with it. I have no respect for any coach at this club because none of them are here for the right reasons. The Kinetic pricks and yes man Rosenior, they're all part of this clownshow ownership.

Only reason we were in the game is because of Reece.

He lets the team get coached by a dumb set piece specialist, back to back red cards now.

How can a "coach" gets off scot-free? He had time to prepare. f**king Wolves played better against this sh*tshow Arsenal side

Then what? We will just get another inexperienced yes man and expect something different? Honestly we may as well stick with him if nothing else is changing.
