In regards to Ake and Zinchenko, I suspect both would be looked at as squad fillers and backups. Neither are bad options in that respect, especially Zinchenko who I would prefer over Emerson. But I think we would have to consider whether this might ultimately block the progress of some of our homegrown talent too. For example I wouldn't want to sign Ake if it denies Colwill a run in the team.

Would only make sense if they were available at a bargain & low wages, neither of which is happening. Both players would only be leaving a guaranteed title winning team for bumper contracts, and playing time with the World Cup next year.

I am one of those a little surprised about the Raphina speculation and not just related to us.

I know he plays for Leeds yet every time I have watched them he has not done anything special.........?

I think Tuchel would prefer him as a wingback, Arsenal would honestly be a better move for him system wise but there you go. There will be pressure to score here, which is a cause for concern as that isn’t Raphinha’s game, he’s not going to be that elite output kinda of player.

Similar, but a much better end product

Zinchenko is a great shout as a cover for left back, watched him play for Ukraine, where he played middle of the park, like a playmaker, was MOTM, so has plenty of versatility, better option than Ake

Talk about Ake or Zinchenko coming here to be back ups. Why would they? They are well paid to be back ups at City where they win important trophies each season almost guaranteed.

Only reason they come here us regular play time or the sort of wages we would be foolish to pay back ups.

And a little sad that Pulisic is 23 and his career highlight is he scored 9 goals before turning 19.

Alas the other 2 kicked on and Pulisic career still averages 9 goals every 60 games.

Why aren't our scouts recommending Bremer from Torino. Guy looks big and fast with nice technique on the side. 

I'm disappointed we haven't been linked with any midfielders.

I think that's the main area we need to upgrade/strengthen after central defence.
