Having the likes of Piazon, Thorgan and Traore providing depth in the attacking roles as opposed to Mata and KDB makes a lot more sense as they won't have the same expectation of being first team players all the time, I think it's a lot more sensible and sustainable this way.

That's why I kind of wish we'd get one back (preferably Piazon) now and put him into the team...all of a sudden there's a spot available. We sold 2 AM's, we probably need one more in the squad...and considering we already have a few good prospects, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense signing someone like Salah....then we'd just have the same problem again. Lots of young attacking midfielders.

SEemingly the Anderlecht move for Thorgan is not happening and now he's not happy to train with ZW

I think Thorgen will probably be loaned next season to a much better level than the Belgin league as he looks bloody decent, he looks a lot better than I thought in fairness!

I really hope Thorgan Hazard makes it. How great would it be to see 2 brothers playing world class football together ?

The scout involved in bringing Gael Kakuta to Chelsea has queried the player's return to Stamford Bridge from a loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem.

The 22-year-old joined the Blues in 2007 from Lens but failed to make an impact in west London, and has had loan stints with Fulham, Bolton and Dijon before his most recent move to the Dutch outfit.

Kakuta made 12 substitute appearances for Vitesse this season before being recalled by Chelsea in early January, and scout Guy Hillion is puzzled over the winger's status.

"Frankly, I don't know why he put an end to his stay with the Dutch club," Hillion told L'Equipe. "It is a huge waste. I already said it and I repeat it, he is the most gifted player of his generation. He could have been exceptional.

"But talent is not enough. When you pile on failures and there is trouble in any club where you played, you have to ask the right questions and question yourself.

"There was Bolton, Fulham and Dijon too. You can't manage everything in a player's career. You can't manage what is on his mind, his entourage or his family."

Thats what it seemed like. Hutchinson was also recalled wasnt he? Nothing has been said about Sam.

Hutchinson and Kakuta weren't really playing especially Sam so it was pointless them being there.

Kakuta to Lazio. Could be a good loan for him if he gets to play regularly. I know there's not much hope for him anymore, but if he can make an impact there perhaps he's not a lost cause after all.

In a way I agree but traore is very young,hazard might not be ready but piazon is very good IMO

I just mean in terms of having these young players who show promise, but can't get near the team because we've bought someone else. I think Thazard is ready to at least be a sub for us, he's doing extremely well in the ProLeague at the moment. I think Piazon could be converted into a striker with some work, very suarez like player.

I think even if one of piazon and thorgan proves he can deal with the pressure and fights his way into the lineup, (effectively freezing out salah or schurrle), mourinho will see the Salah transfer money as money well spent

Sam Hutchinson just scored for Sheffield Wednesday against Bournemouth. Other than getting booked a lot he seems to be thriving in midfield.
